Food was okay. The main reason for the 3 star review was for the HORRIBLE service we had last night. The bus boys who filled up our waters were always present, however our waitress was no where to be found. When we were first seated, we waited for 10 minutes for her. She came and didn’t say hello or anything, just said “drinks?” She didn’t ask us if we had questions with the menu or anything. She never asked us if we needed something else to drink either. Then when our food came, she said nothing and we were handed off to another server who plated our paella. Normally after being served a meal, the waitress comes back at least once to ask how everything was and if there was anything else we needed. For these reasons, we will not be returning nor will we be recommending this restaurant. There’s good potential, but rude staff is not acceptable when paying $80 for a meal.

We decided to have a several tapas dishes and forgo the paella, which takes 45 to 60 minutes to prepare. We loved the tapas. We had bacon wrapped dates, croquettes, garlic shrimp, stuffed mushrooms and tenderloin and mushroom kabob with shoestring potatoes. I'd order any of them again. It wasn't busy on a Tuesday night, service was very good. We were stuffed.

This restaurant was a real pleasure from the minute that we walked in to peruse the menu and I asked if they had a nice sangria then promptly ended up with the answer in the form of a large sample in a cold glass in my hand. I mean, how do you deny the art of the sale in that? The experience never declined from that high point. We very much enjoyed the skillful table service and the array of dishes that we chose. Nothing too fancy about it; just really good and lovingly prepared food served by grateful staff. Like visiting Greece and Spain all at once... In Arlington Heights. We will be happy to visit La Tasca as often as we can.

What once was a place filled with great food, live music and great service, has unfortunately lost all its ‘Latin Flare.’ Spent to much money to leave hungry and disappointed. Feb, 2024.

Went alone to grab a bite after work. Sat at the bar and the service was great. I like to try fun drinks the. Bartender had some very good recommendations. I am glad I tried it. I had a sangria and dates in bacon. And shrimp. Thai was perfect for me an easy meal to cook. Oh wait I did not cook it was not loud tbe day I was there but ca. imagine that on the weekend it might be loud. Definitely go for a taste and stay for a drink. Had a nice time. I love tapas it's definitely a fun food and I think it's something enjoyable because you get to sample little bit of everything which is my favorite way to eat

We have been coming here for years and still our all time favorite ?! Always recommend the Tortilla Espanola! Just wish it had the yellow and red peppers like it did years ago. You won't be disappointed here!

First time here and probably won't be returning. Was sat in the far back of the restaurant. We came on 2/14 not only to celebrate V-day, but also my b-day was the same day. I mentioned this to the staff and server. The food was ok at best. Server has a hard time with English language and did not provide good service. Bill was $150 with 2 drink and 4 small plates and dessert (which literally was a little Debbie brownie with some raspberry sauce- gross). Way better choices in area. Probably a better to visit here in the summer for a drink or two and app.

Very fun and relaxed place with excellent tapas! Really appreciated the tips from the server, and it was great to see excellent half-bottles of wine on the menu! Definitely recommend the Muga!

Authentic and delicious Spanish food. On this visit, service was so-so; the server got the job done but was not particularly attentive and, based on how I slept afterwards, I believe he gave me caffeinated instead of decaf coffee :( I tried the "delicias de chocolate" dessert and found it was very rich. I don't ever remember a dessert like that when we lived in Spain, so next time, I think I'll stick to flan or the plátanos.

Hands down the best Paella Alicante I’ve ever had.

We went on a Sunday and the place was pretty empty. Food was ok but we were surprised to see a credit card service charge! Like isn't that part of doing business! As a customer I don't appreciate that, build into the cost!

The food was delicious as always. We ordered several plates at once. The last one we ordered took at least 10 minutes for it to be served. Our waitress asked us 2 or 3 times if it had been delivered. Also, we had two birthday coupons which had always been taken, but not this time, and we never got our birthday desserts.

The food was absolutely wonderful. Nice selection of food. It was my 1st time there and I will definitely go back. The wines we had was excellent, but disappointed it's served in a regular glass, not an actual wine glass, but it's fine. Our waiter was rather dull and completely unengaged however. The owner was very delightful to talk to however.
