Our server was excellent and took the time to explain the dishes and gluten-free options since my daughter can't have gluten. The food was amazing, and my husband is Italian, so that's saying a lot.

We did the happy hour menu, roasted warm olives, toasted ravioli, wood fired pizza and the amazing rosemary parmesan fries with garlic aioli. With key lime pie for dessert. Everything was great, server was on top of everything. It got very crowded, glad we made reservations. Will be back.

Great food, great company, great service. We had a table of 8 for lunch and everything was really good. the only thing I would say is that the homemade ricotta was too salty. Other than that, everything was perfecto.

My husband and I Iove Passero.  Food, drinks, and service were all great as usual.  The whipped ricotta with honey appetizer is our go-to - fantastic! Tried the short rib ravioli with mushroom cream sauce for the first time, and it was delicious. The only thing I would suggest is adding a few new items for patrons who come often.

We LOVE the food and drinks here. Food is always a 10/10. I will say, the service is super slow when they're busy. We waited a long time before our server came back to take our order. I could see her chatting with one of the cooks while we hadn't had our food order taken yet. We waited a little over 15 minutes before she came around our table to take our order. The tables on each of our side also had long waits. I think we got our food before one of the tables, and they had been there longer than us. The server was super nice, and maybe this isn't her fault, and they just need more staff for the dinner rush.

Reliable place to eat in downtown Arlington Heights. Friendly service. The holiday decor was festive, but it was too cold (2 of us wore our jackets during lunch, and we were not seated next to the windows, so we didn't bother to ask to be moved to another table). We wish that they would experiment with the menu a bit so that we'd have something new to try in our repeat visits.

The food was FANTASTIC! We didn't eat one bad thing. Our server was sweet for sure. My only complaint is I felt like I was on top of the two tables next to us. It was like sitting on a train bench squished next to people. Everyone heard everyone else's conversation for sure. They need to spread people out more even if that means losing a table or two. Just uncomfortable.

The salmon afumigato was beautifully presented, almost like a prepared Japanese meal. First rate.

We always enjoy our meal and have been there many times. The asiago crusted steak is our favorite and the gnocchi and cacio and pepe are so well done. I only wish the tables were a bit further apart and since we are often only 2 we always refuse the tiny tables for 2 in the middle.

We always love eating at Passero; their food is dynamite. We love seeing Miguel there too - his energy and kindness shows through every time. He always remembers us and has a conversation with us. The staff is extremely friendly. We never ever have a bad meal here. The bartenders are top notch with their cocktails. Our favorite Italian spot downtown AH!

Food and service was excellent. Portions were generous. The only negative was that our group of 7 was cramped in a large booth that backed up to another table. Also the table was rocking so we asked our server to fix it, which he gladly did.
