Portillo's Arlington Heights

Double check and triple check your order for this location. Even unwrap everything to make sure it is the way you ordered it. I got home one time and had a bun with all the toppings and no burger. They even got the cheese on there. Just no burger. And then they act annoyed when they have to fix their mistakes.

I love Portillo's. But this location cannot get drive-thru orders correctly. They consistently order the wrong number of items, or the toppings that we ask for. We've had to call in literally the last 5 times we've been there telling them they missed something, charged us for things we didn't get, or because we were given other people's orders. Clean it up Portillo's. It's not that hard serving hot dogs.

They forget all the time something

Always crazy busy there, kids working the lines and management supposed to be on the line with them. They get backed up and sometimes push orders out too fast food has been forgotten and I even received a free salad and oh boy did it taste good since it was free. They owed that that to me without judgment on my part as much money I spend there.

Late afternoon lunch so not busy. Great background music but not so loud as to make conversation difficult.
Food was excellent as always for this chain. My son ,from out of town, loved his Chicago dogs and cheese fries while I got my usual Italian beef sandwich with grilled onions. The onions are not offered with the beef sandwich, only peppers but got them with the dogs separately. This should change on the menu! Overall, choices place for drive thru or eat in! Great value for you $

Today we held a bday dinner for my gmas 95th bday. The lady manager and her staff were so patient, helpful and cooked our food to perfection. My Grandma LOVES portillos so having it there was perfect. We appreciate all the staff did for us. Thank you!! We also loved there was options for many dietary needs including vegetarian!
