I have loved this place for 8 years. It was my go to for after work drinks when I worked across the street when they first opened. It’s been my go to for great food, great drinks and great patio hangs. To hear they are closing after the COVID pandemic breaks my heart. Knowing I’ll never sip a Dolly Parton on the patio again while their awesome staff is there. Truly sad. I wish the team the best.

Unprofessional!!! I placed a large catering order for my daughter's graduation party. I placed it with over a weeks notice from the event date. I received an email confirmation from Rack House confirming the order the same day. Four days prior to the party I receive a text message stating that the order can not be fulfilled and Rack House has canceled it. I immediately called and spoke to some girl, her only explanation was someone forgot about our catering order and didn't order enough food to accommodate our order. I know several restaurant owners and I myself worked for many years in the restaurant industry. There are a lot of mistakes and mishaps that happen behind the scenes in a restaurant. The ultimate goal always is to pull it off in front of the customer and never let them know of the potential disaster that almost could have been. I have a hard time believing that they where unable to reach out to any of their food purveyors on a Wednesday to have a delivery of product before Saturday. OR go to the grocery store and get the product you need. Bottom line is you figure it out. Especially these days, your restaurant was shut down for a few months and now is allowed to be reopen, only do a fraction of the seats and capacity due to COVID. I would think you would hold onto every ounce of business you can. Thank goodness for Agio Italian Bistro in Palatine. I called them Wednesday night with my dilemma. Mike was excellent to work with. He walked me through some popular food options and said it was absolutely no problem to fulfill my order by Saturday. The food was excellent!

Very friendly staff and great food. My daughter recently figured out that she likes BBQ sauce, so we decided to check this place out while on a quick weekend trip. She really liked the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and my brisket was so tender and delicious. Great BBQ sauce made in house. We would return!

A disappointing experience. Borderline marginal to rude staff when walking in for order pick-up. The door host completely ignored us. When paying, I was told that my $25 Amex gift card was declined. This happened even though I told them the card $ amount in advance, and my total bill was greater than the gift card amount. In the end, the quality of the food did not warrant the cost. The platter was bland with no standouts and that includes the brisket. After walking out I immediately regretted the tip I left for a carry out order. It's too bad because I wanted to like this place and will not return. Some of the recent 5 star reviews definitely seem fake & reactionary in an effort to offset the poor experiences of other diners.

I'm not sure why there are such low ratings for this place. The food is really delicious the outdoor patio has a nice ambiance. We had the brisket nachos, very good taste, good portion. Staff is very friendly. Only thing I would suggest would be to pair up with a local brewery to provide local craft brews.

Love the wings here, this Is my go to place when I want them. I get them Cooked extra with dry rub. The rest of the menu is good as well.

We have been coming to Rack House for many many years and the food continues to get better and surprise my pallet. My wife and I love to go here after a long week and know that we will always get a great meal. They have done an amazing job creating an oasis outside during these crazy times that still allows you to eat all of your favorites while enjoying the beautiful summer weather. Whether you are looking for a quick bite or a big feast, Rack house has something for everyone.

I am a huge fan of the wings here. Very unique sauces you don't see at some other wing joints. Sticky curry and chili maple are way to go. If you're feeling real ballsy then give sex panther a try (very hot). They're not just deep fried like you would normally expect. The smokey flavor sets them apart from the competition. Would definitely order from here again, thank you!
Everything was perfect from the time I ordered to the time of pickup. When I called they immediately picked up the phone and had an extensive understanding of the menu. We ordered burnt ends, brisket, and pulled pork. By the time I picked up my order and brought it home it was still piping hot and was just as good as it is in the restaurant. To say that the meat was tender is an understatement, it literally melts in your mouth. If you are ever in need of some serious down home cooking with a fresh twist of flavor make sure you head right over to Rack House.

Those are just a few highlights you can look forward to at this unique eatery. If you live anywhere in Chicago or out in the suburbs, it is worth the drive to fill your stomach and feel like you are being taken care of like you are family.

I absolutely loved the Mac and cheese! It was so creamy. We also ordered wings and they were so juicy ! We always order from Rack house or their sister joint: Broken Barrel. Although they don’t hold a candle to Rack House. Love all their wide variety of wing flavors-def unique! Would recommend any day of the week. Pre-covid, their service was great and friendly. Literally drooling thinking about them as I write this!

The quality has definitely dropped. This was our go to for wings and the last few times we’ve ordered there’s been little to no sauce on anything, including the sandwich. The meat was very dry. We also ordered sides and the portions were significantly smaller than they’ve ever been. I’m not sure what happened but, it’s going to be a long time before we go back or recommend.

This is one of our favorite local restaurant in the neighborhood we missed the most. I’m a wings lover, and their wings are amazing! But I have to say that their cheese curds is the best and fresh!! Although, I notice it’s a bit smaller size when you do to-go this time. A little bit different than our memories. Overall, we love to be back whenever we visited Chicago again.
