Thr service was good but the food was bland as can be, Taco Bell is spicier. Pretty sure their Rojo was just tomato sauce. Their salsa was just cilantro, and that seemed to be the only spice.

The rating for the food may just be down personal preference. I had the ribs, and I didn't like the taste of it. I shared the leftovers with my family and some of them liked it.

Unreal chips and salsa, insanely good food and drinks, and a killer atmosphere. The wall art is awesome, the service was fantastic, and the whole experience was a straight 10/10. Blown away. Will 100% be back!

Fun place. No reservations but you can get on the waitlist on Yelp. Good (not great) Mexican food. Service was good despite the restaurant being very busy late on a Saturday night. Nice decor.

Server was great, but management wouldn’t let us celebrate a 6 year old’s birthday without paying a “cake fee.” Hmm okay. I’ll pass next time.

Carnitas was not crispy and was more like shredded pork. Lamb was just ok. Rice and beans were great and the drinks strong but others than that was disapponting.

This was a good idea. We tried coming to this restaurant before but the line was out the door. So we tried lunchtime and got right in. The food was delicious and the Guacamole made at table side was there best! We had Shrimp Tacos and they have a sampler plate and you get three huge tacos and you can order them with all different proteins. Our wait staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was authentic Mexican decor. If you're looking for great Mexican food try Salza 17! The Margaritas don't suck either

Salsa 17 is a fantastic spot in Arlington Heights! Their salsa is truly unique, flavorful, and award-winning—it’s unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere and sets the tone for the whole meal. The food is always excellent, but what really makes the experience stand out is the ambiance. I will say I wish they had sweeter cocktails because I am not a salty or super spicy person, but it's not a huge deal.

Dining outside is especially enjoyable and exciting—the energy, atmosphere, and service make it a place you want to come back to again and again. Salsa 17 never disappoints! Definitely try the guacamole and salsa!!!

Food: The food was actually very good, although they gave me beef enchiladas instead of chicken. We had a November special beet salad which was super delicious!
and I don’t typically like beets. Unfortunately, we were told this may not be on their regular menu. I suppose because it’s not really a Mexican dish. Because the food was better than most of the Mexican restaurants we have tried, we will most likely be back.
Service: everyone was very friendly and the manager came over to ask about our meal and took the salad off the bill, since we got the wrong order. The entree was served before we had even gotten 1/2 way through the salad and the waiter did not appear for a while for us to tell him we got the wrong order. So, we ate what was served.
Atmosphere: the tables seem a bit close together and the bar tables were quite small.

We had plan to have a party of 15 people eat here for a birthday celebration, We called hours ahead to ask about reservation, they told us to go online 30 minutes before the time we needed, so we did we even arrived 30 minutes before our party to make sure we were on the list . When we arrived to the restaurant the host said they didnt have a reservation for my husband. Showing him the confirmation text, he still said no, nothing. He kept looking at the tablet and tilting it and kept saying no no no send me a text like if it was a screenshot. Then he followed to say it would be 45 to 55 minutes for a table since they had people waiting. We were very disappointed to a point we had to change our whole plans, that we had to go to a whole different restaurant. Which did a great job getting us a table right away. This is honestly the worst experience I have encountered with something so simple. We didnt even get a sorry or anything..
