This is my second time at salsa 17 and both times have been great, great service, great drinks I had the Paloma. The food was great. The waiter went over the top by bringing me differen mole sauce to choose from. They were all delicious. Tacos were good. 5/5 atmospheres is great, it does get busy but very nice place with great music and good vibes. Family friendly. Plenty parking, must try the guacamole they make at your table. Hope you all have a great experience like we did.

Salsa 17 is a decent Mexican restaurant but with multiple options for Mexican food in the area, Salsa 17 wouldn't be my first choice. To begin, the peach sangria is absolutely delicious. It is priced well and the serving is good sized. If you like mild salsa, the salsa served with the chips is good. But, I prefer a spicier more flavorful salsa, so the table salsa was disappointing. It lacks fresh flavor. Consistently the table side guacamole is disappointing. Every time I go, I order it and every time I am underwhelmed by it. Just so bland. Needs more salt, cilantro, jalapeno and lime juice....which is weird because the diner tells them how they like the guacamole. The fajitas are tasty and you receive a large portion, which is good. But I find them a little greasy and the corn tortillas were a bit stiff. The atmosphere is fun and the drink menu is good....I just find the food to be quite average and not as flavorful as I would like.

Salsa 17 is a fantastic spot in Arlington Heights! Their salsa is truly unique, flavorful, and award-winning—it’s unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere and sets the tone for the whole meal. The food is always excellent, but what really makes the experience stand out is the ambiance. I will say I wish they had sweeter cocktails because I am not a salty or super spicy person, but it's not a huge deal.
Dining outside is especially enjoyable and exciting—the energy, atmosphere, and service make it a place you want to come back to again and again. Salsa 17 never disappoints! Definitely try the guacamole and salsa!!!

The place is very welcoming. The food is very good and. plentiful. The service was a bit slow. We sat inside and it wasn't too full, lots of open tables. Our waitress was pleasant but not around much. We will go back because the food was delicious.

Not sure if it's like this all the time but I loved the outdoor seating area. Our waiter was a joy, and the food itself was phenomenal. My husband ordered a quesadilla and I ordered the nachos. My nachos were HUGE, did not recognize it was such a large plate but I loved it. The flavors of the food is a must try spot for Mexican, the cheese on the nachos was amazing. My husband took some leftovers of the quesadilla and I had plans to take them home on the plane with us but we forgot it in the hotel fridge. I was so upset and continued to think of my missed quesadilla all the next day, this place is that delicious 😋
