Best italian beef anywhere, very fresh and not dried out. Great dogs. Twice we were charged for food we did not order and did not get, once soup, and cheese. Check your reciept. We still love this place.

this scooby's location is expensive for what you are getting. no traditional meal deals, so expect to pay a hefty amount for a complete meal, and that's not even including a drink. the people are pretty rude and not very welcoming to new customers. they think it is acceptable to shove $30 worth of food into a tiny bag, so by the time you get home with your food, the bottom of the bag has broken from the grease and steam.

I was in the mood for a Chicago style dog and tried this place. The service was friendly and fast and the food was excellent. The dog was perfect. Everything that should have been hot was hot and everything that should have been cold was cold. The fries were fresh and hand cut.
The vibe was old school. It's like the places I used to go to in the city 40 years ago.

Love the restaurant!!! Been coming here me and my family for over 11 years and counting. Everything I had ordered from has been good!!! My daughter loves The Gryo Classic and The Chicago Style Hotdogs! My wife loves The Italian Beef and Gryo Classic. I myself make my own Creations Double Cheese Burger and add Gryo Meat on top of that!!! Trust me no one won't be disappointed!
Vegetarian options: They will accommodate your needs!
Parking: The only negative is that the parking lot is very small.
Kid-friendliness: Have a variety for your children's needs.

Ordered their grilled chicken sandwich combo and a hot dog. The sandwich was weirdly bitter, I don't know if they burned it or what but I couldn't take more than two bites. Fries were soggy and greasy. Hot dog was pretty good though.
Service was very polite and fast, but for nearly $18 I'd expect better quality food.

Love Scooby's! Real Chicago staples like pizza puffs, hot dogs, and gyro but my favorite is the chicken pita. Prices are reasonable and the family that owns the restaurant are so kind and friendly! You have to try it and once you do you'll go back.

Real shakes! And malted's! A throwback 1950s early '60s honest to goodness Chicago style hot dog joint. Sport peppers. Real burgers and cheeseburgers grilled on a flat top. Delicious Italian beef and sausage. There's more on the menu. Giardinera is hot. Sign up and get notices for specials that are special, for a change. Real french fries. Delicious Gyros. I like it finished with a tad crispening of the outside, tender on the inside of the strips. Polish sausage with grilled onions. Classic. Great atmosphere, with only about two dozen places to sit down. A place for dedicated meatatarians. Excellent rice pudding dessert, homemade naturally. One free refill on your drink. This is a place you want to go to blow up your diet there or carry it home.
