Family and I decided to stop by for a quick meal after Black Friday shopping. Enticed by their “energizing rice bowls”, we ordered some food at Sutadonya and were met with a disappointing $20 meal. The wait time was not bad and the ordering process through their kiosk was pretty efficient and effortless. However, when we got our food, the bowls were half-full and incredibly bland. I ordered the spicy Chicken Katsu bowl and there was no spice nor flavor to be found anywhere in the bowl. There are several other spots nearby that offer the same items at a far cheaper price with greater portions and flavor.

I paid $19 for a drink and a half full spicy beef bowl that was finished in like 7 bites, my friends got double the amount of food for half the cost elsewhere.

I have been going to sutadonya ever since 2017 and have never had any issues. But unfortunately, the last few times I had it, it left me with almost immediate stomach discomfort. I ordered the spicy garlic pork bowl. My guess is that the meat is not being properly cooked or expired meat is being used. I highly recommend double checking expiration dates on the items in the kitchen. I sadly won't be coming back until the food safety standards are under control.

I have been to the food court at Mitsuwa many times over 25 years. Sutadonya is my number one choice. However the quality has greatly declined while the price has gone way up, to the point of ridiculousness. They charged way too much for miso soup, while I'm sure in the past it came with the bowl, which costs way too much. Plus, everything was served in disposable bowls, when in the past you would get real ones. Just overall poor experience, especially compared to before.

It’s used to be good when it was cooked by the Japanese. Now it’s not the same. I do notice that there were less Japanese workers and customers too.

Curry has good flavor. Yakisoba has good flavor, but mixing the two in the same dish was too much. The yakisoba also comes with thinly sliced pork mixed in so it's not vegetarian. The karage chicken had good crunch and was soft on the inside but seemed over priced for the quantity given. There's a good variety of side sauces that you can put in to go cups yourself at the counter. The wasabi soy sauce was the best. There's a long wait time.

Great food! Can get it to go or sit in the food court sitting area and enjoy your meal! The food court noise level can get a little loud during peak hours, but even that rush hasnt put a damper on the quality food they deliver every time!

The chicken garlic is so salty and the miso soup is so bad. I don’t know if it was just a bad day, but the food was straight buns
