their birria is the best i’ve ever had and it’s so affordable!! amazing place
They are so cheap about giving out sauce when you ask for some. Yet they forget to put the main sauce for the quesabirria and say oh ok I will talk to whoever for next time. I shouldn’t be checking orders when the lady taking orders was sitting and on her phone.
Taco Town is one of our go-to spots—we genuinely love the food and come here every week. The flavors are consistently great, portions generous, and everything is always fresh. I’ve recommended this place to several friends because it’s been such a reliable favorite for us.
However, I was disappointed during today’s visit. My family was in from out of town, and I placed a larger-than-usual order—six dinners totaling over $100. Even though it was for takeout, I still made sure to leave a decent tip. When I asked for a bit of extra salsa to go with everything, I was told I’d already been given enough and would have to pay extra. It felt like I was being nickel-and-dimed over a small cup of salsa, which was frustrating, especially as a regular customer making a larger purchase.
I’ll still come back because the food is great, but I hope management considers how these small moments impact loyal customers. A little generosity goes a long way.
Burrito suizo was excellent!
The protein was seasoned good BUT for the cost a of 3 taco dinner and a drink, was an eye opener I am not use to.
On top of that the sides, rice and beans, were just a bit more than a tablespoon of each (no joke!) the rice was decent, the beans were a bit runny and tasted like they can from a can.
And I love places who put that tip jar in front of you who don’t deliver the food I don’t nor stop by the table and ask you if you want anything else. All they did was take my order and say please come and get it.
Want better tasting Mexican food for the same cost, try Mi Restaurante, in Mount Prospect.
It's just a lottery. Sometimes the burrito can be delicious, sometimes it's just awful. It seems like they run out of food in the evening and make the burrito from what's left. This time it was just pita bread and meat. The shii tastes very spicy. And the onion, cut into giant pieces. It's a shame, but I won't be coming back here again.
Over priced for what it is. I've been ordering here since it opened and the prices have went up and food is not as good as it used to be. I always call in a pick up order, don't like using other sites that isn't the restaurants, and even when ordering the same thing, the price I'm giving is always different. I ordered torta combo, 2 tacos, side of rice and horchata and it was $27. PLUS I only got the torta, no combo which made it even worse. I didn't realize it until I came home and called to make sure I wasn't charged for combo and was told I wasn't. A sandwich, 2 measly tacos, drink and rice nearly $30. The same guy that took my order didn't bother to apologize, help at all just said "have a nice night." I've only ever seen 2 young guys at the register and taking the phone orders, one is rude, one is nice and of course this was the rude one. For the price, lack of seasoning and flavor, won't be back.

Great burritos. The Birria ramen is good but they barely put any meat in it. For $12 it’s criminal. It’s basically instant ramen with a smidgen of meat. Should be half the price
Best Mexican food that I have found around that area. Tried at least 10 Mexican themed restaurants.

Came from TikTok. Food was great had queso birrias, asada fries. Table was dirty had to have them clean it. had to ask for silverware it wasn’t placed with our food. Wasn’t directed to grab my drink out the cooler had to ask to make sure it was okay. But overall the food was great. napkins was on the wall? To make services better provide the information where the items are and greet with a smile. My opinion the silverware should be out on the counter if your not gonna put it on the trays.

We just moved to Arlington heights from Rogers park so finding a good Mexican spot is important! The food was really good ! Definitely going to be coming back because if my 5 year old can eat 2 tacos in one setting it’s a win !!! Thankfully you all are 2 minutes from our home we eat Mexican food often !

I would never come back to this restaurant. I have been coming here from the first day they open and never an issue. Tried placing and order 11/7 and nothing but attitude. Tried ordering half rice and half beans and she made it the biggest deal talking about we don't that here when I have done plenty of times with no issue. Awful service, as long as she works at the restaurant I will not go. Customer service is a big deal and she clearly doesn't get it. Rude and a Nasty attitude. NEGATIVE 10 ON SERVICE.
