At the first moment you arrive in this place the personel give you a nice feeling. Very congenial waiters, it is a good restaurant to hang out with your friends or with your date. tasty meals, qualified chef, decent price and generous service. Highly recommended.
Clearly a Kkangpae joint. Is this place owned by the mafia? Or was it just us? A group of four us walked in for what we hoped was an evening of fun. Instead we found the place completely empty. The hostess weakly acknowledged us while the glare of another employee seared through our skulls. We sat down and were given two menus between the four of us. After making our decisions on what to order (very basic, low-key items) we we're told that they did not have jap chae or any other items for that matter. At that point, the woman and our party came to an unspoken mutual understanding that we would not be dining here and furthermore would not be welcome. I've seen a few posts about this establishment not being welcoming towards non-koreans I still don't believe them. Rather this is a super shady element, perhaps even a criminal front for something far more organized but hey don't take from me, it's worth checking out for yourself. One star for what could be a fun adventure.

Terrible business. I made a reservation and they didn’t keep it because I showed up 3 minutes late. Honestly don’t come here because they don’t respect anyone. Terrible management, terrible ownership, terrible business. Don’t waste your money on this establishment. I will never visit this place again. Absolute disgrace.
