Ttowa is a gem to Arlington heights. The food is always great- the complimentary appetizers are amazing. My favorite kimchi - everything is homemade.

One of our absolute favorite restaurants. We have been going to Ttowa since its opening. The owner is so kind and friendly. The food is impeccable and the portions are generous. The only thing we've noticed is that Ttowa needs some sprucing up. The interior needs some pictures on the wall and the take out containers should not be so present. The back bar area needs some tweaking as well. Sometimes the aesthetics are just as important and we say this with upmost respect. Additionally, we wish the menu included drinks or desserts. We didn't know if they were not serving alcohol. One final thing, way back Ttowa used to greet you with the most amazing hot tea. It was delicious and a great touch as a customer. We know Covid has impacted restaurants so all of this is being said in the spirit of kindness. We LOVE the food and will continue to order for take out and also eating at the restaurant.

Great food and great service! Had not been there since remodel and ambiance not as cozy. But food is excellent!

We go to Tiowa one a month. Always great food Best part is it's BYOB. Make it very affordable dimmer in tough economic times

This is a small, family run restaurant, with amazing food and service! I wanted to try the whole menu, but settled on a few dishes, all of which were phenomenal! I will be dining here again.

Mrs. Park always makes wonderful food! Bibimbop was perfect, pork and seafood soup was great as always. Don't get me started about the potato salad!

My mom and I came here for lunch last week. Took a picture of the pretty plates but we were so hungry when the food came we didn’t take pictures! In our opinion, the cucumber side dishes and the japchae noodles were a bit too sweet for our taste but the Soondoobu soup was delicious, it was the highlight! Good service and nice servers

I came to Ttowa with my family last night and had one go the best dining experiences that I have had for quite some time. We were a party of 5 and seated outside. The chef was so friendly and accommodating. A couple of the appetizers were only for 4 but he gladly adjusted them for out group of 5. He graciously brought out a carafe chiller to keep our BYOB beer cold while we dined. The rice cakes were amazing, crispy yet chewy. The seafood Korean pancake was also amazing and loaded with shrimp. Great food, incredibly nice service made for an wonderful night dining here. I would absolutely recommend.

Decent selection of Korean foods. They bring several of small plates to start - just as part of the meal. Then there's a half-dozen appetizers to choose from, a half-dozen soups, a half-dozen rice or noodle dishes, and a half-dozen entrees. Casual open atmosphere. Well prepared food. Tough to find parking. There is a parking garage close by though.

Really delicious, especially the crispy rice cakes and the pork buns. Don’t sleep on the sauces! Friendly and efficient (but never felt rushed) service. Stand-out Korean food, highly recommend.

The sides were great. The grilled chicken entree was impressive, better than the bulgogi, which could have been more tender.
