Ramen USA is a cute little restaurant hidden near the intersection of Arlington Heights are and Algonquin Rd, on the border of Arlington Heights and Rolling Meadows. They have a great menu that includes free salad bar and green tea for eat-in customers. And for those seeking a bargain, they offer a limited Happy Hour menu five days a week with 30% off ramen and 50% apps like gyoza and takoyaki. They also have great drinks at great prices: flavored matcha lattes for $4.99 and Ramune sodas for $2.50. And homemade Japanese roll cakes! You order up front and they bring the food to your table. Definitely worth a try!

(Definitely a hidden gem) I’ll start by saying that if you have a fish allergy like myself, the ramen broth is made with fish oil. However the cashier was more than understanding, patient, and helpful with asking the kitchen what I could and could not have, even going as far as assisting me with separating items she believed to have even a minuscule amount of fish product (our usual Ramen spot does not use fish oil). The atmosphere was relaxing with upbeat music quietly playing in the background. With every bite of ramen my family took I became more and more envious. Their tastebuds danced with excitement as they enjoyed the more than generous serving. There are other dishes excluding fish oil, however by the looks of my family’s faces I’d say this was top tier ramen.
I visited here on a certain day in December 2025. We ordered a Curry Pork Cullet Curry Rice with Onion Soup , a Champ Ramen - (Reg) No Addon Topping and a Onigiri Rice Ball - Salmon (Grilled Salmon). Those were very delicious and volumy. and We got free salad. Because we ordered over $11.99.

Hands down the best Ramen that I have had in the Chicagoland area. It was so good that I texted three people within five minutes of me starting to eat, just telling them how good it is. And I’ve had some good ramen already in the past. The broth was so perfect, Rich and flavorful. The balance of flavors was just right. My dish was also loaded with fresh seafood and a huge cut of meat on top. This was an unbelievable deal for the price and I left with a huge amount of leftovers that will also serve me for lunch and possibly even dinner tomorrow. I love how humble this place looks, and I love that they have takeout containers and everything you need right there so you can help yourself. An introverts dream. Fellow white people be advised when they say spicy they mean spicy. And I love the heat so it was perfect for me !
