Love this place for breakfast. It is consistently delicious! I ordered the Venetian Benedict with the complimentary side fresh fruit. The seats are comfortable. The coffee is always fresh. A broad array of tea selections. Fresh cut lemon to squeeze in the fruit and liven up the hot tea.
Watch for the clipper magazine for coupons. Although I would eat here even if they didn’t offer coupons.
It is rated tops by the locals.

Dear Friends, I've been enjoying Walker Bros Pancake House for nearly all my life, first at the one in Wilmette on Greenbay Rd, but now the one on Dundee Rd in Palatine.
I think I've tried just about everything on their menu, but I keep returning to the Apple Pancake. To me, it's "perfection on a plate"!
Sweet, luscious, apple-ly, nothing better. It comes out of the oven piping hot, so be careful eating your first bite.
Better still, October is "Apple Pancake Month" (25% off). So do yourself and your family a favor, head over to Walker Bros and have a little slice of heaven.

Excellent eggs and hash browns. The Canadian bacon was tasteless. The apple pancake has been reduced to half its thickness and is soaked in a pool of too much butter and cinnamon. I used to take 12 pancakes home and freeze them to bake later, but it’s a waste I money. Time has changed the place and not for the better.

Only reason i am giving it 3 stars is because the service was good, food was good but $26 for chocolate crepes, 3 pieces of bacon and coffee is a little over priced. $6 for 3 bacon strips is excessive. Service was very good and the atmosphere was good.

A great place for breakfast. We both ate Dutch Baby Pancakes with the strawberries / bananas and an order of hash browns and onions everything was delicious. Server was on top of the needs. A happy experience.
