The food was just fair. I remember when it was great. Does anyone in control care at the decline?
Amazing staff and great food
Stopped in while traveling through. Food was decent- pretty much what we expected. Service was inattentive at best. Not rude, but not friendly. Never checked on us after getting our food, despite stopping at the table next to ours to bring drinks and orders. No utensils or napkins anywhere up front. Ice cream area was dirty, which was weird as it's the first thing you see when coming in. Unlikely to return or recommend.

Max's Diner is a family-friendly restaurant located on Vine Street, known for its decent food and welcoming atmosphere. While some customers have experienced inattentive service and long wait times, others appreciate the diner’s popularity, often noting that it can get busy. The menu features a variety of options, including the highly praised Saturday lasagna special and the delicious grilled chicken BLT, which some guests enjoy regularly. Breakfast items like omelets also receive positive mentions. However, there have been complaints about certain dishes, such as the country fried steak skillet, which was served in a less appealing manner. The diner offers a kids menu and activities like coloring pages, making it suitable for families. Despite some cleanliness concerns, especially in the ice cream area, many still find the food satisfying and reasonably priced. Parking may be a challenge during peak times, but the overall experience at Max's Diner is one of a classic, casual dining spot.
