Very authentic hyderabadi flavor. Their kabobs are MUST try. Very fresh and tender meat and very flavorful. Got their kabobs again the second time and same taste and flavor. Its a hidden gem.

We've been out all day on Saturday and in need of supper, we wanted some hearty food and not just regular boring American food. We googled places near us and found this GEM, despite the 1st review we read that was bad we would like to give it a try anyway.Oh boy aren't we lucky! This is the first Indian restaurant that has a very authentic Hyderabadi Chiken Biryani cooked with ghee (to my taste).❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️We also ordered 2 parathas which was very buttery & good but not as flaky as I wanted it to be, but they have a good flavor.We've been on a hunt for a very good tasty Indian food that doesn't try to adjust their cooking to American taste buds and we are happy we finally found one! Their chicken Biryani is so flavorful & one of the side sauce (brown in color, don't know what it's called) is also very good.We can't wait to give the rest of the items on the menu a try, we definitely gonna go back soon!

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent, Mutton Marag, which was perfectly cooked . For my main course, I had the Mutton Biryani which was melt-in-your-mouth tender. I highly recommend Angaara to anyone looking for great Hyderabadi styles.
I visited this place weekend with family and had dinner chicken dum biryani it's delicious Taste. I suggested this place to my friends because the food is similar to Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and the service is excellent. The owner is also very humble.

Angaara Restaurant is a gem of a place for anyone who loves Hyderabadi food. The food was flavorful, spicy, and authentic, and the portions are generous. The service is fast and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is clean and cozy, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. I especially enjoyed the biryani. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.

I visited this restaurant yesterday with my family and had really bad experience. I am adding this review mainly because of the unpleasant and horrible shouting from another customer (who was not dining) after my brief conversation with the owner regarding the food served and lack of etiquette from the owner after that.We ordered a mutton biriyani family pack(family size biriyani, chicken 65, raita and mirchi ka salan), 2 naan, kadai chicken.,Biriyani and chicken 65 wasn’t looking fresh, on top of that chicken 65 looked different inside(see pic/video attached) and biriyani had dominating lemon flavor, so we asked the owner if it was prepared fresh and few questions about the taste and texture., he mentioned that it’s their style and can’t do anything about it and can’t refund(which i was totally fine with since it wasn’t my intention, i was there only to have a good food and time,) and that was all the conversation between myself and the owner., Owner also agreed that the food was prepared in the morning.Later there was another customer, only other customer in the restaurant who was not even dining and was there to pick up an order and chatting with the owner’s mother(i am assuming), she started a conversation with me casually asking about where i am from and how long i have been in Chicago area, then started she started shouting and defending the restaurant and food, and insisted that i shouldn’t have asked about the food directly and kept saying that she always liked the food there. she kept shouting for more than 5 mins, my 1year old son started crying and she didn’t even consider lowering the voice,, she had no business to interfere, especially to shout at us and spoil our mood even more., worst part is that the restaurant owner didn’t make any effort to stop her from shouting at all, and when he realized that i would add a bad review, he said “karma will get you” when i was leaving after paying my bill in full.Overall the owner didn't handle the situation well and doesn't like a negative review. I wouldn't recommend my friends to this restaurant after this bad experience.
