The last time visiting here, it looks dark, dreary, scary castle of sorts and there is some smell and maybe the food could be affected by this?
To me they did not seem to offer some combo with the soft drink or maybe the soft drink area drink did not work or was not in operation making no sense to dine in and get a few refills,
so the best thing to do was just leave and fast. and so be it.
It is a shame that the wrong Brown's chicken shut down in Downers Grove which was cleaner. Life can be unfair.

The experience was extremely disappointing. I chose pickup based on the quoted wait time of only 2 minutes. I ended up waiting 30 minutes for my order. This massive discrepancy between the estimate and the reality shows a lack of respect for the customer's time. If the correct wait time had been provided, I would have cancelled the order and gone elsewhere. Please value your customers' time as you value your own; misleading wait times is not acceptable business practice.

Just home with order. Paid for the powder sugar on my fritters as that option is common. You took my money and didn’t give me the powder sugar I paid for. You being cheap is stealing my money pal.
The fries and fritters taste fishy and not right. You must be sharing and using the old oil with my order. Because you’re cheap? Or just really forgetful?
I paid for a LB. Of the liver and you only gave me 1/2LB. Oh the fries are almost burnt they’re so well done.
For good measure I enjoy and normally give out great ratings. Once in a while it’s different.
I was at this Browns Chicken a couple of months ago and it was a lousy experience then like now. I see a trend here.
Listen buddy, you are a disgrace to all of the great takeout drive thru businesses that consistently get it right. It appears that getting it right is a habit just like crappy service is a habit.
I won’t forget to skip your spot next time buddy👎

I order a 4 piece with mash and gravy (terrible) cheese potatoes (good ) not great. I try to eat two of the chicken was so rubbery. No favor, like it had n̈one.. skin on it wasn't crispy at all.. I gave two pieces away and he came back and ask me was this a joke?? Because it was so awful. We thrown the whole out. 2 whole pieces and a bite off the other two. I haven't had Browns in years, so I saw one close byso I thought I order from here. This was hard lesson to learn. Payed over 30 bucks for food that wasn't good enough to be put in the regular garbage. I though it into special waste dumpster. This is no lie.

This place is horrible…cold chicken and the fries weren’t fully cooked. It’s a shame
Browns owners don’t take things seriously considering browns seem to be disappearing.
This is the reason browns are quickly becoming a thing of the past.
Horrible Customer service and the outrageous prices are killing this franchise.
If your prices go up so should the quality of service and food should go up as well.
The owner will probably respond with a “we’re going to look into it” answer.
Too late for this customer and anyone I know. We will not be going back here.

Went to the Aurora location on Monday February 24. Wanted to order the Monday special of buy one get one for a $1 livers. Was told they weren't allowed to do it. The young man would not give me a reason. Was going to order other items to go along with the livers. Ended up walking out. Very disappointed. Have been going to that location for years.
Thank you for responding to my review of the Aurora store. Please let me know when the problem is resolved. I would like to continue to visit that store.
Gio took my order and he was very nice

Not sure why Brown's keeps this location open. The place has always looked abandoned and the decor inside is worse. I've ordered online and the food is stale. We drive to Naperville now for Browns as it's a family favorite. Went there over Labor day and such a bad experience that I didn't even pick up the food. Avoid this Browns.

Worst 50 dollars (expensive) I've ever spent for two people. The chicken was hard. Like stale. The Mac and cheese was literally cheese sauce over soggy macaroni elbows. I got sick after eating. Other browns might be good, but avoid this one like it's the plague. I never leave bad reviews but holy hell...
Update, got food poisoning and was sick for four days. Do not ever eat here.

It looks like you're stepping into an episode of Kitchen Nightmares except Gordon is not here to save us or give us our refunds. The pasta was disgusting looking and the $16 chicken sandwich was a joke. If you want to spend $50 and be lied to straight to your face then waste your time here.

Extremely overpriced ($50 for 2 people) and the food tastes super bland. Take your money elsewhere.
