Decided to try this place for the first time. I ordered the seafood Karee. I was excited and didn't mind paying the higher price for shrimp, scallops and squid. I was very disappointed by my dish. There were no scallops and the amount of squid was minimal. The squid was cut up in tiny, tiny pieces. I got exactly 5 pieces of shrimp. I truly do not believe that this does not justify the price of the meal. We also ordered fried rice and pad see ew. They were just ok. Won't be coming back probably.

Customer service was good they were nice but the food was too sweet and the drinks they made were super sweet and the restaurant smelled like fish , when they gave me the check I was shocked 88$ for 4 thing that were bad I don’t think it was worth it overall I didn’t really liked it.

Me and my family love a Charm Thai, this is the best food I have ever tasted in Illinois and my kids love the orange chicken and the butterfly pea tea which is delicious. They are such nice people and I highly recommend you try out this place.

Made a U turn right away when I walked up to the counter to place an order and saw a woman changing a baby's diaper on the ground behind the counter. This is beyond repulsive.

Another nondescript, looking like your regular hole-in-the-wall Thai food joint in a strip mall. I went in there thinking this was going to be your run of the mill, mid-tier Thai food, given the setting. I was 100% wrong. Yes, the interior is nondescript, and generic, albeit neat and clean. But the food…the food is the stuff of THAI DREAMS!The last time I had such explosive Thai flavors, I was actually in Thailand. We ordered the following:Tom Yum/Tom Kha - both broths are the perfect mix of savory and tart. The Tom Kha is slightly more creamy, and a little mild. Both have a strong taste of Galangal (Ginger’s spicier and heartier sister, galangal is the heart of Thai cooking so if you’re finding this in a strip mall Thai joint, know that’s an authentic Thai mama recipe!) and a strong undertone of lemongrass. Truly delicious!Thai Basil Fried Rice - so comforting, with the Thai basil sautéed in there. The moment I bit into that basil leaf I knew it was fresh. Celery, broccoli, egg - all the components had bite and were incorporated cohesively into this fried rice dish.Seafood Karee - shrimp, squid and scallops sauteed in the perfect curry sauce. Very savory, with a hint of sweet. Oversauteed scallops and/or squid become rubbery, but these were buttery soft, and so well done!Parang curry - wow, this one had a kick! But the curry itself is savory, thick, creamy and luscious and dripping with flavor.Last?m, but definitely not the least, let’s talk beverages. Mum got a Thai milk tea, and it was PERFECT. Sweet but not overly sweet. And I ordered the Butterfly pea tea which is a beautiful violet color and is outstanding in taste - super sweet, with a tart undertone of citrus. All in all, this is my official go-to Thai place from here on out. No questions asked.Highly highly highly recommended!!!

Best Thai in the area. I love delicious Thai food so I tried all the locations near me and this one prevailed. Now it is part of my rotation despite being ~25 mins away. Well worth it. I highly recommend their curries, drunken noodle (spicy with extra sauce), and their tom kha soup.Only issue I’ve ever had was half my crab Rangoons being criminally underfilled, but that’s hardly worth mentioning really.

This place has some of the best chicken nuggets I ever got for my kid. The curry was excellent too

Best Thai food in the area. Better flavor, bigger portions, and better prices than their competitors. I love their red curry, they put Japanese pumpkin in it which is so delicious.

The service itself is nice and friendly, but I don't eat food just for the service. If you've never tasted Thai food before, maybe you would be pleased, but for anyone who has, this is very sub-par in quality. I am giving 2 stars instead of 0 because at least the service was good, and I didn't get food poisoning.

Was some of the best Panang Curry I have ever had. Family run and very friendly. Highly recommend Charm Thai.

Vegetarian options: I had panang curry with tofu. Very good
