We had a wonderful experience at Giardino. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent. If you’re fortunate enough to have Brian as your table attendant, you are assured a positive and attentive experience. If Christina is managing the house during your visit, you’ve hit the jackpot. All your needs we’ll be met or exceeded. Please give this spot a try soon! We were very impressed.

Awesome food and reasonably priced. We were a large group celebrating a birthday. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Portions are generous. I had the eggplant parmesan and it was the best. Definitely going back.

Bright, casual atmosphere sets the table for great cocktails and some really amazing and creative dishes. There so much more than pizza, but don't skip the pies either. Definitely save room for a cappuccino and a slice of the ricotta cheesecake. Highly recommended. Wonderful addition to the Aurora food scene.
Loved the fresh, made from scratch entrees. Light Italian fare rather than super heavy food. Reminded us of Tuscany. Delicious and nice atmosphere. Very impressed. We will go back.

Walked in on a Saturday around 4:30pm.
The restaurant had only a had full of people but they wouldn’t sit us without a Reservation but they had a lot of open tables.
They said their first open table is at 8:00pm.

I’ve been here at least 6x now and have left unimpressed the last 2 times. Work took us out to lunch, we ordered 4 appetizers, and everyone got their own meal.
The Good:
- the chicken wings had great flavor, sauce underneath tasted good as well but did seem like a sauce underneath. Loved the peppers on top.
- ordered meatballs as an app - I’ve had the sandwich and it’s great - can’t go wrong with meatballs from here and the bed of polenta underneath was a great addition
- wanted to try the ricotta, fig, honey and if you like something different it did not disappoint. There should have been more ciabatta pieces
- tomato bisque is really good
- pizzas are a good size/price, I’ve left full after each visit.
Not So Good:
- the calamari portion could be slightly larger for the price but the peppers on top were a nice touch. The basil aoli is ok.
- saw they added a wagyu burger, 4 of us ordered it and what a miss it was. The burgers were cooked as instructed but had no seasoning at all, overall tasted very bland. I did not taste any aioli, the lettuce was about 5 small chopped pieces the same lettuce in the Cesar salad I’d reccomend maybe doing arugula on top instead, the onion was 2 chunks not slices or rings so felt a bit odd just sitting on the burger, and the tomato jam was very offputting and didn’t do the burger any justice which was disappointing as it was one of the reasons I wanted to try it - it was not a jam at all it was more so if you took tomatoes, smashed them, and dropped them on the burger, and also they gave me french toast vibes, it tasted like nutmeg or cinnamon because of whatever sauce was on it and did not go well at all with the burger at all. They should scrap the burger completely or revamp it and add an actual bacon tomato jam not tomato chunks. I knew I should have gotten the prime steak sandwich instead which is amazing.
- this is the 3rd time I’ve had the burrata pizza and it slowly is starting to disappoint. i wish they put more pesto on the pizza. Saying it had a drizzle would be an overstatement. My personal preference would be if the pizzas were cooked slightly longer to give the crust a little crisp especially with the style of pizza they are but it’s starting to feel bit soggy.
- the ortaggi pizza was bland, not much flavor
- the peach sodas missed the mark, I’ve had it before and it was good but today it tasted basically like soda water with the thought of peach.
Not sure if whoever was making food/drinks just wasn’t feeling it today or if this is the overall direction of the restaurant but definitely not the same as when they first opened.

Love the atmosphere and decor. Light, fresh, not noisy. Nice little bar area and great servers. Fantastic Giardino Old Fashioned! Our party of 4 sat in indoor dining room. Had a Margherita brick oven pizza as an appetizer. Delicious. Great size 9” for four people to try. We had a chicken parm, vodka pasta, orecchiette w/sausage & broccolini , Caesar salad with filet. Everyone enjoyed. Will be back to try more. Couple of quirks. Wood booth seats could use padding. One cushioned seat felt like sitting on the bar of a sofa bed 😆. Won’t sit in that booth next time. Table wasn’t set with knives so had to ask when meats came. Loved having a water carafe on the table but no ice in the drinks. Got some when we asked though.

Wonderful food and nice ambience Ruined by poor managerial service. One guest's extremely delayed entree. All others served and finished one guest. No food. Manager (would not give her name 7/12/25) could not have been more condescending and rude. Told table guests twice her age to 'she was not speaking to you'. No resolution and automatically charged table %20 tip. Never again!

Totally unacceptable. Party of 8 one person did not great their entree. We were done eating and still no entree. Manager was rude and brought the fish in a doggy bag when we weee going to a play and the temp outside was over 90. What a bad performance by the kitchen and the manager

Found out about this hidden gem in magazine article. Definitely had to check it out.
The restaurant is beautiful, the staff was amazing and the food...incredible. we can't wait to go back!
Parking was easy. And there is a wheelchair accessible entrance off their patio.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Giardino’s Trattoria. On this hot day the cool (not cold), well-lighted, crisp atmosphere of the restaurant was most welcome. We started with Bruschetta and an antipasto salad and moved on to Orecchiette Alla Diavola - all delicious courses prepared in a distinct way different from other Trattorias. We sipped along the way a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and a La Sala Chianti. A very enjoyable evening from atmosphere of the restaurant to the tasty courses!
