After our first visit here with friends, we couldn’t stop talking about when we’d be back!
When we’re with a group, we like to sit at a table, but when it’s just me and my husband, the bar is our go-to spot. The servers and bartenders are always fantastic.
The oysters are fresh and delicious, and the foie gras is served just the way I love—with toast and jam.
The caesar salad is quite good, with a nice touch of pickled sardines.
So far, our favorite entrées are the burger, steak frites, and walleye.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Unfortunately, I did not get any photos as GG is one of those that I enjoy just going and soaking up the environment without having my phone out. Plus date night with husband always means no phone distractions no matter what. Lol

Happy to find this gem in Barrington during a recent visit. The food lived up to the reviews - actually surpassed this foodie's expectations. How can steak frites be SO good!? Also highly recommend the walleye. Our server's suggested appetizer (artichoke agnolotti) and champagne (Ayala) were spot on. Finished with a beautiful berry cobbler and vanilla bean gelato. A lovely evening!

Absolutely fantastic experience! I was lucky enough to come two nights in a row (first with friends, then with family) and both nights were equally special. All the dishes we tried were outstanding (Jessen and Mario are incredible chefs) and the service was top notch. Our server the second night, Jillian, was especially fantastic and made us feel like home. Already can't wait to come back!

When you step through the door, you step into a café wine bar in Paris. The vibe is exciting although a little loud. Wine line is extensive and excellent. The food is incredible. Nothing is less than perfectly presented and cooked. The melt in your mouth Smashburger is only $22 and comes with generous fries! Never had a more delicious moist Trout, same with the Steaks. Gigi will NOT disappoint!

First time visiting this establishment tonight and so glad we did. Probably one of if not THE best meal we've ever had and we have been to some pretty amazing restaurants. The food was fresh and delicious, service on point, and we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces.

Had the steak frites and roast chicken. The steak was great, but honestly that chicken may have been the best roast chicken I've ever had in my life. I know you're thinking "it's just roast chicken" but trust me. Seating was pretty tight which made things difficult but it didn't detract too much from the overall experience. Atmosphere was cozy while simultaneously lively--really fun!

Came here to try something different. We were truly happy with everything we ordered. We ordered the Grilled Shrimp for an appetizer and they were excellent. We also ordered the Cheeseburger with Fries which was one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had. The Lobster Risotto was also excellent. Desserts were great. Will have to come back again to post pictures.
