I ordered take out from gigis - not only was I charged and given 3 additional items I didn't order, the items I did order were COVERED in human hair. There were long dark hairs in our burgers. I called asking for a refund for the items I was Charged for that u didn’t order AND the two burgers wrapped in human hair and the restaurant never got back to me.
Do not go here.

The food—it was absolutely insane! It's been so long since I've had such delicious dishes. My favorite plates included the seared foie gras, pave, and the wagyu bavette steak frites—each one was a must-try! Every bite was a delightful experience!

Seriously, where do I even start? I'm so mad at myself for not checking this place out sooner. My bestie was in town, and we popped in for drinks and food. Jason, the bartender, was seriously the best! So friendly and cool. We sat at the bar and had a blast watching everyone make drinks. It's not a huge place, so if you go, you should probably make a reservation if you don't want to wait. The lobster risotto was the best I've ever had, and the berry cobbler still has my mouth watering. I can't wait to go back.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Gigis! It was our first time and our waiter, Finn, was the epitome of great service! He walked us through his favorite recommendations, the specials, how things are prepared and where they come from. He checked on us and made sure we were happy and just did a great job!
My husband had a delicious Malbec and I had a great mocktail! We had 2 rounds of oysters & the farm egg for appetizers and omg they were so good!
We both ordered fish and shared each entree- I had the special - amberjack with frites and it was so good! The aoili for the fries was 10/10 and my husband had the artic char was so freaking good- don’t skip on eating the skin that might have been the best part!
Somehow we had room for dessert and shared the special which was a basque cheesecake with strawberries! Super delicious! Can’t wait to come back and try other items in their menu!
I had about 40 minutes. Needed to take the Metra. No bar seat for one, dining room was bustling. Ordered 2 quick picks shrimp cocktail and Wagyu skewers. Steak perfectly cooked charred, med rare, seasoned delicately, well balanced 3 sauce medly. Delicious. Happy clientele. Josh and Jersey made me feel at home. Tell me I am coming back. Thank you!

My family and I go here for drinks and food on the regular. They have a solid menu for everyone, and their specials are fantastic. Service is fast and accurate. This restaurant is doing great things for the city of Barrington. If you are ever in the area, be sure to stop in.
