The different breakfast options with meat or not which I got the omelette with goat cheese, mushrooms, hot peppers and scratch the bacon, was very delicious and coffee is also good (Grumpy Goat), considering in most places that the price has gone up but the quality to match it.

so many unique breakfast and lunch options, it was the first time I couldn't finish my breakfast, ate half and I was completely stuffed. there was enough leftover for a whole other meal. Sara L was our server, shes phenomenal, gave us Bonuts on the house since it was our first visit there. overall will definitely be back and recommend others to try

This was my third visit, and unfortunately the first time I left disappointed. We ordered the cornbread sliders special and the chicken and waffles, but both dishes fell short. The cornbread was hard and overly dry, while the chicken and waffles lacked flavor and moisture. I’ve had better experiences here before, so I hope this was just an off day in the kitchen.

Southern Belle's in Barrington has a charming, homey vibe, and our server was friendly. The menu looked tempting, but the Stacked Biscuit with fried chicken was a letdown. The biscuits were incredibly dry, and I usually love biscuits and gravy, but this wasn't it. I wasn't happy about having to ask for extra gravy when the dish is called biscuits and gravy. Shouldn't there be enough gravy to begin with? The dry biscuits made the whole meal less enjoyable, and it was disappointing that a classic dish like biscuits and gravy wasn't executed better.

Apparently this place takes over 1 and a half hours to make breakfast food. Came here for father's day because we have been wanting to try this place. No wait time, so seated right away. We had plans at 12:30, and ordered food at 10:30. You would think that would be plenty of time for breakfast food. By 12 we still had no food, I asked waitress to check we've been just sitting there for an hour and a half, the people who sat down right before us had received there food and finished and about to leave. She said she would check, then proceeded to walk away to a different table to take there order instead of going to check on why our simple order was not done after an hour and a half. I asked to speak to a manager who kept saying there's not much they can do its father's day... maybe you could go check like i asked but nope. Finally we decided we would just leave, I told the staff member and she said with attitude im sure you can see we are busy. I have been to busy breakfast food places where I had to wait just to be seated, if they can get food to you in 20 minutes tops, this place where there was no wait can manage quicker than 1 and a half hours I'd assume otherwise they are doing something wrong. Its breakfast food... it was obviously their error, people who sad after us got there food and finished before we got... oh wait never got our food. The waitress told me they were seated before us but there were several tables I saw empty when we arrived and eating when we left, I even have a picture of me and my family with the empty table behind us so annoying she lied. No apologies no compensation just bad attitudes. I would have liked to try the food here but to wasted 2 hours here on father's day morning only to leave without food and annoyed at the poor service and responses we received asking what was taking so long. Will not be trying the food at this location, pretty pathetic they cant handle a normal crowd and then shame you for wondering why food takes so long. You would think the waitress would check on here own after walking past us so many times. I shouldnt have even needed to ask after that much time I'd be embarrassed if I were the waiter.

Small and cozy place with delicious drinks and real southern style food. Biscuit is part of the meal to compensate for small portions. Friendly service. Wheelchair accessible ramp on side and leads to rear entrance. The front entrance has a few steps. Street parking is very limited because of neighboring businesses. Free parking lot across street available.

Me and my sister and my brother-in-law we went to Southern Belle on a Sunday before the memorial day. It was around 1:30 PM when we reached the restaurant and first per empty because we were too late for branch. It took us about 30 minutes to just find the parking as there was a art fest going on. We were seated and ANNA was our server we ordered coffee asked for fresh juice, same they didn’t have any fresh juice. I ordered avocado pesto Benedict which Anna told that it’s gonna be really good. My sister ordered a Panini veggie Panini, which was not on the menu so she asked her to put some veggies and make a Panini which again Anna was very kind to get that accommodated. And my brother-in-law ordered chicken wrap in the meanwhile we are waiting for the food and I got us complimentary Bonuts, something that southern Belle have on their menu. Everything was really good. We enjoyed our branch, but the best part was Anna was really sweet and had a smiling personality and she was something who knew what’s exactly in the restaurant kitchen and what exactly they can make for us and very accommodating. She definitely needs recognition so if the business owner or the manager reached this review, she should be recognized or even given a raise thank you
