Cheo's House Mexican Grill & Bar

I don't usually write reviews. I've ordered from this restaurant consistently over time because the food WAS good. Today they served me rice that smelled very rancid like dirty moldy socks/shoes. If my family and I could smell the rice was bad (very strong smell) then that means they could smell the rice was bad, and still served it to their customer without any regards to anyone's health. I've never been to a restaurant and had rice smell like that. I don't want a refund, or to talk to the owner or to even be back. I find it extremely worrisome and disrespectful they don't care about the quality of food they serve their customers. Sadly, it's best to avoid this place.

Very kind staff, helped me pick a good meal and suggested great options. Location was very clean and has a good sized parking lot. The meal had a great taste it really made the long day vibes lift up. I will eat there again without a doubt even recommended it to my relatives

As authentic Mexican as my step dad's cooking and he's from Mexico City. The steak is good quality not nasty rubber. It actually tastes Mexican not Americanized Mexican, they have Chipotle for that. The service was exceptional. You get guac, sour cream, and plenty of salsa Verde which all other Mexican places skimp on. I'll definitely be coming back. Best Mexican in the area, and I tried all of them. Growing up with a Hispanic dad, I know AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD. Just like I know authentic Polish food as I'm polish.

Generally there's no such thing as Good food that's cheap, this is the anomaly!!!

Attended an event that provided food catered by Cheo's. The food was amazing, particularly the churros and empanadas. This was an event catered for approximately 170 people, and there was more than enough food for all. Delivered on time, hot and delicious. Tortilla chips, salsa roja, salsa verde, taco bar with corn and flour tortillas, steak, ground beef, chicken, rice, beans, and all the fixings as well as empanadas and churros.

Feels like home, waitress are very friendly and pollite . Their food is amazing, and their service excellent . I would deffenetly recomend this small family business!
