Wife and I had dinner there yesterday and the service was good. Loved the atmosphere. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich she had the chicken wrap. Both tasted delicious. Oh, the cheese curds were good also. Beer and old-fashioned, thumbs up.

Went for an early dinner Sunday. Lower level closed for a party (which we never saw show up). Upper level had one server. Good sized crowd but not packed. Obviously the service was slow. Food was OK, not hot due to the slow service. Management needs to do a better job with staffing.

Update- reducing to 1 star. I left this review on 5/11 and emailed Ross per his instructions below and never heard back. When asking for a confirmation of event receiving my requested response I was told I would have to wait till Friday for a “meaningful response”. Um… it’s 7pm Friday. Yikes empty promises and terrible customer service.
If I was reviewing the food- 5 stars, food, appetizers and meals (when correct) was excellent. Service? Horrendous- to the point that the started to feel like we had signs on our heads that read “don’t serve us / please, ignore us”. Mother’s Day, family of 4, and a long time fan of the MORE brand was super excited to sit down at the rootop, absolutely gorgeous day, top floor was only open. After being told by the bartender to sit wherever, we got seats and settled and then we waited, and waited, and waited….. and then had to wave the waiter down who had gone to the table behind us that sat down after us that hey- our existence hasn’t been acknowledged, the table you were just talking to sat down after us, could you send someone over? He took our order drinks & app immediately and the we waited, waited, waited, got our drinks /no apps/ sensing how this visit was going to go - placed our entrees .. and waited, waited, waited. Sensing a theme? App plates come out, 2 silverwares not 4, food finally comes out and our daughter’s food was wrong. At this point we’re wondering if we were on an episode of punked. In the end we got everything we ordered/ asked for but not without hand holding. When it came to the paying the bill, I’ll let you take a wild guess what happened… waited, waited, waited, finally had to gather the kids and leave and my husband had to literally go up to the bar to take care of our bill. But don’t worry, the dog at the table next to us got a complimentary bowl of water (great for the dog, more waiting for us). Kindly get your front of house in order MORE, rooftop season is here and you’re set to upset many future patrons.

We expected More. The service was very poor. The place was not at all busy. One can of beer, ice tea. Two burgers and a cheese curd appetiser for >50.00. Not worth it. Would have done better at a Wendy's.

I visit More Brewery often to pick up some beer to take home. Today I thought I would sit down and try some of their food as I've only ever had their beer at the bar in the main floor or some of their appetizers. I was thoroughly disappointed with the service at the bar on the rooftop as it took 15 minutes to order my food from when I arrived and the food only showed up after an hour of wait and asking about it. The front end staff were nice and comped the food off but after waiting over an hour for the food I didn't see a reason to sit their for another 30 minutes, eat my scorching hot pizza while being ignored during my entire meal. Once the floor got busy (I arrived around 530pm on a Monday), I was left alone for a solid 30 minutes as I waited for my food and an empty beer glass hoping the food would arrive soon. Unfortunately, the pizza only arrived after being approached an hour into sitting at the bar and asking where the food was. I was hoping this would be a quick birthday dinner but it sadly turned into a hour and a half of sitting and not getting any food. This experience is only of a solo patron of the bar and I cannot speak about the service as a group of people or a table but I do hope that the kitchen doesn't hold up the front end staff in the future. Unfortunately I don't think I would come back here during a dinner rush but I will come back for the beer.
We recently hosted an engagement party at More Brewing Company in Bartlett and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, the staff (Tony, Brooke, and Mike) went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Tony and Brooke were both our servers and bartenders and they were incredibly attentive — not only did they provide excellent service throughout the night, but they also helped move and set up furniture to make the space just right for our group. Their hard work and great attitude made a huge difference.
The food was delicious, and all of our guests kept commenting on how much they enjoyed everything. A special shoutout to Mike, the manager, who was so kind and made the whole process easy and stress-free for us. He was accommodating, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure our night was special.
The party was held on the second floor and we were able to use both inside and outside. It is such a great space!
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. Thank you, Jonathan and More Brewing Company, for helping make the engagement party unforgettable!

The bartender at the bar side, the red beard guy, treats customers extremely poorly. He's rude and contemptuous. I won't be going back thanks to the mistreatment my friend and I received last night.

Nice taproom, great beer selection and pretty tasty. They put a 3% surcharge on your bill if you use a credit card, I noticed that after I paid.. it's a bummer. The other More locations don't do that.
Attached receipt from Villa park, there was no mention on the check and no surcharge when I used my card.
