Great for suburban ski and tubing

terrible service

We didn’t expect much snow since the weather has been getting warmer, but the team did a great job maintaining the icy slopes—good enough for an enjoyable tubing experience.

Going in a group makes it much more fun. At first, tubing felt a bit repetitive—just sliding down the slope with some long wait times. However, it became truly exciting when we started going down together, linking our tubes like a train. Even gathering at the top to form a chain added to the fun. Sliding down as a group, hearing everyone shout with joy, made the ride feel longer and far more thrilling than going alone.

It’s also not very tiring since there’s a conveyor belt that takes you back to the top. I enjoyed the full two hours without a break! We were a group of 12 attending the 4–6 PM slot, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience.

Their snow tubing is awesome for both kids and adults!

Disappointing First Visit: Poor Customer Service Overshadows Ski Experience

My family of four visited this ski resort yesterday for the first time, excited to introduce our children to skiing. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a consistent lack of customer service at every step of the process, making it unlikely that we will return in the future.

Upon entering the facility, we received nothing but blank stares from the front desk staff. We waited, unsure of where to go or what the process was, until someone finally waved us toward the register. This lack of greeting or guidance set a disappointing tone for the day.

The experience continued at the equipment pickup desks. When collecting boots, we encountered the same indifferent attitude from a teenager behind the counter—no greeting, instructions, or assistance. Picking up our skis was no better; a group of about five teenagers at the next desk offered only empty stares, with no effort to help or even acknowledge us. At no point did anyone explain the process or offer a welcoming word.

Once outside on the ski area, we saw only one employee in two hours, and he was preoccupied with his phone while standing on the lift rope tower. The only other staff member we noticed was instructing a small group of children. The lack of visible, attentive employees was concerning, especially for families and newcomers who might need assistance or direction.

The snow itself was decent, considering the unusually warm temperature of 60°. My family enjoyed their time on the slopes, which is the only positive aspect of our visit.

Given that we spent nearly $400 for the day, the absence of basic customer service was particularly frustrating. A simple greeting, clear instructions, or approachable staff would have made a significant difference in our overall experience.

While the skiing itself was enjoyable enough, the lack of customer service from entrance to exit means we will not be returning. For a family-friendly resort, attentive and welcoming staff should be a priority—unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

I went this past weekend. They have good facilities and some good runs for being close to the city. However, the staff needs training.
Front desk is nice and helpful, a 10/10 there. Chair lift and rope operators are on their phones, staff cannot handle children as they run down the black chair lift area, causing them to lose their tubes instead of in the tubing area, and bathrooms aren't maintained. Here's my story below.
There was no manager on site, I asked they confirmed only a supervisor was present. The CHAIR LIFT OPERATORS ARE ON THEIR PHONES. I literally had to wave them down to ask something. I had asked if I could have it stopped at the top as I mastered the other runs I thought let me try the chair lift. Mind you I am a beginner and have gone to one other place with a different getting off the lift set up, I was a little worried, but wanted to try, run didn't look bad. The guy agreed to stop it. Once I got to the top it looks a little terrifying and THERE'S NO SIGN TO TELL YOU HOW TO GET OFF, I thought it would stop and it didn't so I stayed in, anticipating it until we passed the point where you would get off. The guy was not paying attention until I passed the ramp and was on my way down. The staff at the tubing site came to me and told me to jump down?? We were about 4 feet high and as someone who has never jumped down on skiis before, I was not comfortable. I asked if I could go around to where the staff said bruh why can't you jump down it's not that hard. How rude and unprofessional. I know there's a waiver but I still don't want to twist my ankles. I heard from other customers that it's common to jump down, why are we jumping 4 feet off the lift in skiis or a snowboard, especially as beginners? I asked the staff at the bottom why it didn't stop and he said apparently they can't do that? If someone is having a hard time getting on, you stop the lift, but whatever. Then parents listen, there were only two staff watching the tubing area and way too many kids, there should have been at least 4 staff. While the tubing staff turned away, not sure what was happening, the kids grabbed their tubes and went DOWN THE CHAIR LIFT AREA. Some kid started and the rest followed. Obviously they fell and their tubes fell away. What a mess. Be careful when you send your kids up there; they looked about 6-10 years old. My last issue, I went back to the bunny hill to practice and my snowboard got stuck under the rope. I needed the rope to stop (it's what you grab to go up the hill), they didn't stop the rope immediately or after a while. I was waving and the guy wasn't paying attention they were talking to someone. They saw me wave and didn't do anything. After a while he finally stopped the rope. Is it not common practice to stop the rope once someone falls on it, especially in a beginner area? People can seriously get hurt with the friction or stuck. I asked the staff who was in charge of the rope to which he said they were waiting for me to get up?? How. I explained that I was waving for a while and he said you weren't down for that long. Gee how comforting, must have forgot he wasn't paying attention. How many times do you have to wave for help until one must listen, apparently three times here. Lastly, towards the end I went to the ladies room, period blood on the seat and toilet paper on the ground. Crazy. Staff, especially those operating the lift and rope areas need to be alert and ready to act as those are the areas where an injury would be worst. Having empathy is basic when working customer service, there should be training on that. A lot of people are beginners not starting out with family when they were kids, please keep it safe and nice for them. Thanks.

My pants almost fell down because I fell of my tube, and my bare cheeks skid against the ice. Then Kirk the worker grabbed my tube and went down with me well my pants were falling. Kirk NEEDS a raise. I LOVE PAPA KIRK! My best friends Valentine died. Great time.

It was a complete disaster. I had been looking forward to this trip for two months, but all I got was cold food, terrible service, and on top of that, my snowboard was stolen.

Yesterday I went to see the venue with my fiancee and had a terrible experience. First of all, when we came in there was no one to receive us, we had to ask the bartender which she wasn’t very helpful at all either. When we went in the office the lady didn’t even great us or introduced herself at all. She just said “Hi” and stay quit. I had to let her know that we were there for appointment to see the venue for a wedding, she replied “ oh yes, one min”. So we had to wait until she was dine doing what ever she was doing.
She proceeded to call us back in the office and just ask us straight up when in our wedding date, so we tell her and she started to complain because for some reason she had the wrong date in her book agenda. It was very awkward…..
She ask us how many people and she is like ok, im going to show you around. She never took us inside any room, no bridal, nothing. Not even pictures of past events. They way she explain the venue to us it seems like it was gonna be hard to book the venue in March for a wedding because ski and tubbing season. I feel like i wasted my time completely. We went back in the office and she was explaining the package and has she was doing that, I ask her some questions which she just replied “ I haven’t got there yet, soon”. My fiancee and I felt very awkward and very disappointed. It was not a very welcoming place at all. We heard very nice stuff about the place, we were very excited to see it because online the picture and the views were absolutely amazing. For our surprise the experience was another.
