Big words here. I was told that the buffalo wing at Crosstown were the best in the area! I think I agree. They were crispy and delicious. I looked like a 10 year old after eating an ice cream sundae…. Buffalo sauce all over, but so good! Side note: celery and carrots were an additional $2. Staff was very friendly.

Waited 40 minutes to get my food and when I received my food, it ended up being a big disappointment. I ordered a salmon and they gave me a really small piece which is not worth the price and didn’t even taste good. My bf too complained the food was not good and his burger was a bit burnt. Not worth what we paid for.

Love this place! The portions here are very generous and the food is flavorful. We got the Papis loaded waffle fries as an appetizer and they were delicious! The kids meals were a great value for $8 compared to many other restaurants. And our server was fantastic! Kind, patient, understanding, and attentive. We will definitely be back for the variety of food, the large portions, the crunchy fries, great service and all the daily specials they have to offer.

We were looking for a pub atmosphere to replace our former favorite in North Aurora, IL, which had closed. On a recommendation from a local, we found directions to the Crosstown Pub & Grill, a short drive north into Batavia. Upon entering the establishment, we noted the half-priced appetizers and drinks for happy hour. All the prices were very reasonable. The bartender, who doubled as our server, was very nice & attentive. We settled on 2 types of wings with sauces, along with loaded potato skins & my personal favorite, lemon chicken rice soup. Wings & soup were outstanding, meaty & tasty. The quality was great, a real value. The soup was exceptional, so we ordered extra to go. Only the potato skins were a bit disappointing, as they were on the dry side. The beer selection at this pub is extensive. We were pleased with our respective choices of amber beers. We remarked that the food & the service had exceeded our expectations, & that we would definitely be coming back.

If I could no stars I would! What a bad visit! Waitress Sabrina couldn’t have been less concerned with our table! I’ve been going here many years and the service has really declined! Too bad cause we really could use some lovin’ from a local spot- times are tough for us too!!

They charge an extra 3.5% on their already over priced(for the quality) food. If you are going to charge 3.5 extra on everything....why not just change the price so people know what they are paying?
I didnt have a group of 8, but with the crap service we got had i been charged a mandatory 25% i would have lost my mind.
The food was basic bar food but over priced. The table was sticky, floor was wet (people at the bar actually stopped my meal to make sure I saw it too and was as appalled as they were because the bar tender didnt seem to care), and the service sucked. Our server came to our table a few times but at least 3 times I had to track her down and get her attention to get things we needed. We got there about 2 hours before close and they were dead, no good reason for the poor service. Most of the employees had giant headphones on walking around jamming out (no shade, I do it too) so you had to flail around and chase them a bit to get their attention.
Ive been here 3x in 7 years and each time it gets worse, its a shame cuz I dig the location and atmosphere (when its clean).

Recommended dishes: Chicken Wings
Food is consistently good - we tend to go for handhelds/flats/nachos, can't speak to the chicken. Servers are attentive and fun to visit with -- Sam, Ricky, Sasha all come to mind and are great company & attentive. Business REALLY could use some Randall rd signage, and that chicken soup that's like an avgolemono (wednesday?) is stellar and should get more rotation.
