Kid-friendliness: Lots of memorabilia on the walls. Massive crayon box and coloring books. Food is fast and kids love it.

I love coming to Daddios diner. Whether I am here for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is always good! The staff is friendly and the owner is often here and working along side them. The decor is classic diner with lots of old time posters, albums and lunchboxes. You can also get a classic milkshake here!! A couple of my favorite items to order are the "No way Jose" for breakfast and the French dip panini for lunch or dinner. It's definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

Service was fine only complaint is how bad my French toast was. It was terrible to the point where I couldn’t even eat it. It had an after taste of dirty water. Paid a lot of just two around $40 didn’t even order a whole lot.

Daddios has been a favorite ever since we moved to Batavia 9 years ago. Owners know you by name and are involved with community events. You can’t go wrong with any item on the menu and the kid’s menu has great options, as well. They have themed specials each weekend and serve breakfast all day. So glad they are in Batavia!Kid-friendliness: They have I-spy games, lots of retro decor to check out and even play with, as well as coloring books and crayons.

I really want to give this place a 5. They simply don’t make places like this any more. Great atmosphere and a surviving diner. However, $45 for breakfast for 2? Had to ask for creamer, ketchup, syrup ( plopped on my table with frustration) and after that I decided to ask the cook to push my toast down in the toaster….since my meal had arrived already. So, the service brought it down. The place was a tad dirty but typically that doesn’t bother me if the food is great. But, I always say… if I can cook a better breakfast, I’m not a big fan. Again, I wanted to give this a 5. The locals seem to love it….maybe I went on a bad day?

After recently moving to the area we started scoping out the local diner scene, hitting up about a dozen places over several months from high-end to hole-in-the-wall. Daddio’s is by far our favorite and has become “our place.”The food is genuine good ‘ol diner fare - nothing on the menu is overpriced and all of the classics are available. If you’re looking for something complicated or over the top, this is not your place. The atmosphere is homey, casual, and good for kids. It’s a small space so groups of more than 4 or 5 are not ideal. The manager is usually there and is always kind and our girl Kara is the BEST. She’s sweet and quick and keeps that place moving.

Went to this place because someone we know said they like it and go there often; I should have known better. The place is filthy, looks and feels dirty, ordered a coffee and the server is holding it from the top where you drink with the same dirty hands, she just handled cash, no sense of sanitation. The food was not good at all the sandwich the wife got for $15 was this dried-out meat that looked like it had been sitting around for weeks. I got a burger that looked and tasted like one might get in a school cafeteria at best. Food here blows. Bathrooms there are a filthy disgusting mess as well, can only imagine what the back of the house looks like. Wish I would have followed my first instinct and walked out after getting the coffee. Never again, could have got a better meal across the street at McDonalds and paid 1/3 the price.

I love this diner! I've lived in Batavia for 10 years. Please support local business! Their kindness ticket program says it all! The food is fast and delicious. Corporations and corporate restaurants don't care about you or me! Support kindness, good food, and your local business owners - please and thanks! Buy a ten dollar cup of coffee on one of your good days! A ticket is then available for someone having a bad day. A single Mom. A hungry kid. Thanks! and God BLESS those that help themselves and others- as is the case at Daddios Diner in Beautiful Downtown Batavia Il. !

I don’t feel the breakfast was the best. If you’re looking for good coffee this is not the place. The greeting was not very friendly.

Only thing great was the service. Otherwise nothing is made fresh. Cost too expensive for the taste. Seemed like a food truck more than a restaurant.Sorry./ Not
