Flyleaf Bakery Cafe

We were given two cold brews instead of the lattes we ordered. When my daughter politely asked if the drinks could be remade, the owner stated that the barista wasn’t in and that she couldn’t make lattes herself. She declined to offer a refund or any other resolution.

Later, when I went in to follow up, the owner told me the drinks wouldn’t be remade and suggested we go to a different café instead. She appeared visibly upset and repeatedly pointed to a “no refund” sign without offering any compromise. I asked if the lattes could be made later when the barista returned, but that was also declined.

We’ve supported this business several times before and usually order the same drinks. Unfortunately, this time the customer service felt dismissive and unprofessional. All we asked for was the correct drinks we paid for even if made later. The situation could have been resolved simply, but instead, it became unnecessarily tense.

Regrettably, we won’t be returning and will be choosing other local spots that are more focused on customer care.

Nice spot in the Batavia library to grab a small bite, or drink.

Recommended dishes: Chocolate Brownie

First time trying Flyleaf. Had the iced chai latte, iced non-fat latte, and a mango smoothie, brookie brownie. Everything was absolutely delicious!!!! Best iced latte I’ve ever had!

Fox river taxi took me here recommended had the chicken pot soup best pie great coffee spot.

So this coffee shop uses International delight cream & syrup not my favorite. But pumpkin bread was good & the ambiance is very nice. It's inside the library.

This was an insanely delicious lunch! I loved my soup, it was perfect! It tastes better than homemade and was so comforting. Love my apple cider and cookie too! I will be back for more soon ?

Flyleaf is on my short list when I need a quick delicious bite or sweet treat. From their yummy duo of sliders to their tasty baked goods, I don't know that I've tried anything there I don't like! Such a sweet space to pop by if you are at the library or as a stand alone stop. I adore Flyleaf ❤️
