Not sure about the complaints in other reviews. While the menu has changed the place is pretty much the same. Service was excellent and food was excellent. food was brought in the old fashioned basket which I thought was great. Many good beer choices, looking forward to warmer weather to sit outside.

Finally went in to check out the new Gammon and was sad to see it looking and feeling like a shell of its old self. They added bright lighting and an extra TV, they serve their incredibly limited menu in to-go containers, and gave up half the seating space to gaming.
The burger was very good but the atmosphere just isn’t homey, welcoming, or comfortable like it was. Maybe just get the food to go. It’s an incredibly sad state of affairs for what was a Batavia institution.

Sad transformation from Gammon Coach house to this. Went in for some food, saw the extremely limited menu. Ordered a burger and fries. They arrived in to-go packaging even though I was dining in with a stack of ketchup packettes. I asked for a bottle of ketchup and they said all they had was the packettes. Burger was OK but if I wanted to eat I didn't have many choices.
Gammon was such a welcoming, comfortable dine out spot with great comfort food and great selection. Very confused by the experience now as Lucky's Joes and unlikely to be back....which, makes me sad. We loved Gammon. :(
I assume what they're after is drinking and gambling. What I'm after isn't that.

Gammon Coach House is now Lucky Joe's. If you enjoy a burger, give their menu a try. The menu has been abbreviated to just Brisket Burgers. The Burgers are delicious, and the choice is how many patties you want. They also have a nice selection of beers and a cozy little atmosphere.
