Mirus offers an extensive selection of creative small plates. My husband and I shared 4. The flatbread and shaved fennel were good while the risotto and shrimp with polenta were outstanding. There are many more items we want to try on return visits. The wait staff were attentive and helpful as well. Great job, Mirus!

Maybe one the top Mexican restaurants in the area. The food tastes as good as it looks. Doesn't matter what you order, it is all good. Try the enchilads and elote on the side. Coming back !

Maybe it was an off night, but I ordered pork belly and had a difficult time cutting it. It was not very warm or seasoned. Our server apologized, and I substituted it for meatballs. Those were very dry and consisted of too much garlic. And my husband's steak was overcooked and chewy. The polenta, however, was good and topped with a flavorful sauce. Service and atmosphere were positive, and were the manager did not charge us for pork belly, which we appreciated.

Almost everything on the menu jumps off the page to much delight. Everything we ordered was delicious. Enjoyed the setting upstairs and definitely coming back to partake in their nice bourbon selections. If I had one gripe it would be that the food could've been served a bit hotter. Other than that, 2 thumbs up for me!

Outstanding food and service. A little pricey, but overall the quality was there to back it up. Very accommodating for a large group--especially considering it was Mother's Day. Definitely a place I'd recommend and visit again.

Our dinner at Mirus was amazing. We had a party of six and each picked a couple dishes to share. The forbidden rice with shrimp, mushroom and Brie flatbread, black currant meatballs and chocolate charcuterie were among the best. It's not an inexpensive meal but it is so good as a treat.

3 of us decided to try Mirus, intrigued by the promise of small plates with unusual flavors. The restaurant is beautifully put together, the staff was wonderful and there are few words for how delicious this food was. We had a total of 7 small plates, including 2 absolutely fantastic desserts. All the savory plates were well thought out, with incredibly fresh flavors. Every bite was fantastic. The price was very reasonable, too. We will be back often.

It was just the two of us so we decided to go out and for the first time, we saw Mirus in Batavia and decided to give it a try. At first we were seated in the bar and to be honest, it's almost painfully loud and had we not been able to move, we would've left before we started. Thankfully, we moved to a different room and with amazing service from Brian our waiter who helped us avoid over ordering, we had a spectacular meal. My wife needs gluten free and all too often, she's limited to only a couple of things. At Mirus, the majority of what's on the menu was or could be good for her. We will be back and bring more folks with us next time!

Mirus is a fantastic new addition to downtown Batavia. 3 of us shared a total of 7 small plates, which included 2 fantastic desserts. The savory plates were well put together and the flavors were fresh and delightful. Service is prompt and very friendly, and plates are brought out at perfect intervals. The price was reasonable, Every bite was delicious, and we will be returning soon.

Must try! Such a great experience. Ask your server for recommendations. Mike's tips made us try options on the menu we would've overlooked and ended up being our favorites! Can't wait to go back.

We went for Easter brunch, and while it wasn't your traditional style brunch, it had some amazing dishes created for the brunch that were delicious and fun to explore! This is a tapas style restaurant, so it's designed to be small portions shared by many and we enjoyed doing just that. We will definitely go back and try their daily menu. The service was really great. The atmosphere is a lot of fun and very unique. Everyone was very nice and accommodating.

Tried the Sunday brunch and it was great. Went for dinner about a month ago and it was wonderful. The service is very friendly but not stuffy. The food was excellent. Definitely enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

What a gem of a restaurant! Please keep in mind this is a brunch review only, but brunch is my favorite meal! Reservations for the time I wanted were available and a friend and I met this past weekend at Mirus for our first meal together there. And it will not be the last! I struggled with what to order but was as thrilled with my chilaquiles sliders as he was with another slider version he tried. I also loved a Bloody Mary and a glass of wine. While my friend's first choice beer wasn't available, he enjoyed his 2nd choice and followed it up with Mirus' version of a White Russian which has their housemade coffee liqueur and he raved about it! As a local to Batavia, this was a first to a restaurant I intend to go back to again very soon! It had everything - great food, great service, phenomenal music, nice art and a vibe that was just right for Sunday brunch.

Went here simply because it was cold outside and we were seeing a show at the Comedy Vault across the street. We're so glad we went!! The food was amazing and our server/bartender (upstairs) was attentive and helpful. We found ourselves a new "favorite".

There are so few true tapas style restaurants in the tri cities area. Our family loves small plates to all be able to have a bite of several dishes, and we attempt to makeshift in many places, but they just don't understand. What a refreshing place this is. Excellent cuisine, some really good wines to pick from, and great service. Not sure how we missed this place over the several months it has been open, but we will be back!
