I absolutely love New Moon Vegan Bakery! The owners are some of the kindest people I’ve met — they truly care about their customers. They always take the time to talk with you, make sure you’re happy with what you’ve purchased, and sometimes even surprise you with a free pastry in your bag. The creativity and flavor in everything they make is outstanding — every item I tried tasted like heaven. I recommend this bakery 100%! I lived in the area for about five months for work, and every Saturday I looked forward to my treats here. Now that I’ve moved back home, I really miss it. I wish the very best to the owners and staff — thank you for making my time in Batavia even sweeter!

This is the best place ever!! Their tomato basil tart is literally the best thing I’ve ever had. Local organic produce, amazing people, sourcing the best plant based options and making magic in the kitchen. ✌️ (the tart was so good I didn’t even have time to take a picture of it😄)

This place is amazing. My family and I tried 5 different kinds of baked goods in the cafe and they were all delicious (better than non-vegan, my very vegan-skeptical dad even agreed!).
I also recently ordered a cake from them for a small cocktail-party wedding celebration, and the owners were so kind and easy to work with! The cake was the talk of the party - it was delicious and so beautiful!
Cannot recommend New Moon Vegan highly enough for a quick visit or a custom order!

Absolutely delicious and great pricing! Loved their chocolate sea salt pecan cookies, rose pistachio cookies and my husband loved the black and white cookies (soft and fluffy and cakey)
Their sweets are absolutely delicious. Especially the shortbreads with flowers & pistachios - oh my goodness! Can I say it - I love them. I look forward to their return from vacation because I want to try their Focaccia. I'm so excited. Thanks New Moon Vegan for giving us options and introducing our taste buds and palates to clean savory and sweet treats. Thanks. See you all next week.

PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING MOSTESS CUPCAKES, perfect cupcake i loved it so so much and had some apple juice also from here to wash it down. also the new moon staff is genuinely so sweet i love seeing them, and it’s just the cutest place with local art you can buy as well. amazing, love it

Amazing vegan cafe! There’s plenty of space, outlets, and snacks to spend an afternoon here working or simply relaxing. The staff was knowledgable about allergens and helped me find some tasty treats. I can’t wait to come back!
Also adding it is a very affirming space for LGBTQIA+ persons like myself, with tons of local art and zines to keep you entertained!
