Have you not been? Pssshhh... You're missing out, but I almost wonder if I shouldn't if tell you how wonderful, kind, welcoming and tasty this spot is. It's Batavia's but we happily share and will maybe, possibly buy you a beer. Come, enjoy. Sturdy Shelter is a perfect reflection of our diverse, welcoming, wonderful river town.
Great place to hang out with friends! The staff is always very kind and welcoming. There's been a different delicious food truck there when I have gone, and non-alcoholic drinks are available if that's your thing. The trivia on Tuesday evening is super fun and highly recommended.
Last Friday I threw an 80's birthday party for my husband in the river room at Sturdy Shelter and we LOVED it! What a great space with a great view surrounded by lovely people, including the staff of Sturdy Shelter, lest I mention the great drinks! They went over-the-top to ensure that we had everything that we needed, helped in completely unexpected ways, and added to an extremely hospitable and friendly vibe of the party.
