This place is absolutely fantastic. The service is great, the atmosphere is so cool, and the drinks are all amazing. One of my favorite places in Lake County to get a cocktail.

Absolutely the best cocktail bar I've been to, it's an added bonus that they serve world class mead with a world class staff.

This is a superb meadery and a fun spot to hang out with friends with the mini arcade. Personally, I just like to spend time at the bar and talk with the staff—they're really nice. Each mead at Pips will meet or exceed your expectations, especially anything made with nuts. It's pricey, that's for sure, but you can always sample pricier options in small doses.

My favorite place to go! The staff is so kind and attentive and the drinks are delicious! The best spot in town to hang out and play games, drink handcrafted cocktails, and listen to great music.

I wish I knew of this place sooner! Such a amazing hidden gem in tri-parkway in Gurnee. Family friendly bathrooms, amazing cocktails & cocktails, and wonderful staff! You can bring in your own food and munch as you sip on some tasty drinks!

The service here is outstanding. The mead is stupendous! The drinks? Absolutely delectable! Such a wonderful experience.

Good selection of drinks and meads

Fantastic and creative cocktails. We met Joy a few weeks back and you could tell she cared about her craft. They create delicious cocktails using their own mead. Fun vibe for a date night. Kids are also welcome (just not at the bar, of course).

Such a neat place to visit. Owner on site and very friendly. Thoughtfully curated cocktails with interesting and unique flavors. Cocktails have a very pretty presentation. We didn’t taste any as we stopped to try the mead which was equally blended with eccentric flavors. The ingredients chosen complemented the profile of each different mead. Everything we tried was equally good in its own way. They have a variety of options serving wine, beer, mead, and cocktails. I’m sure there’s something for everyone. When you first walk in there’s some nice seating of couches and games to play! And high top tables throughout and seating at the bar.

My goodness, this was a treat. It's not even an hour outside Chicago but well worth the trip. The ladies behind the bar were amazing, and super engaging. Will definitely be back!
