This is not my first time at Beast BBQ, but it may be my last. Stopped in today too pick up some Rib tips when I say they were not tender and also you can't use BBQ sauce to cover up bad meat. To say l was disappointed was a understatement. I have been here number of times and it was really good but this time it was awful pricey a 1.75 for bread and I didn't get the meal but the tips 18.00 crazy. I don't mind paying for food because I work everyday but to get this quality of food very DISAPPOINTED!

Food quality unfortunately has gone downhill - $27 for a salty chewy brisket plate was a little insulting due to the quality. Mac and cheese very good and service was good, just very disappointed with food quality. Really hope food quality goes up or price goes down accordingly.

My last two encounters here have been very disappointing, but most recently today was the last straw. Rewind: After spending $45 (Ribtips/Snoot combo plates with 2sides) in food I was given what was obviously the “about to close” food. Meaning the ribtips were dry & some of the snoot pieces were chewy. Ok…things happen, right? I call the next morning at opening spoke to a Mgr who advised me I could get a refund ask for Brandon or Sophie. I go get my refund by Sophie (was the friendly face) who was apologetic & she gave me my money back plus a $30 gift card for the inconvenience. TODAY I go back only to find out the “30.00 gift card” only had $25.00 on there. As the gentleman who checked me out gave me my change I noticed it was lesser than what I had calculated so I asked how much was the food again & how much was on the Gift card? The gentleman then asked if I had a receipt for the gift card as if I purchased it, but in actuality it was given by Sophie & I told him that. I then told him don’t worry about it because from the way he was lookin he didn’t care to find out or even look at the Giftcard envelope that had $30 written on the corner. Mind blown was an understatement. I’ll spend my money where the quality of food matters to the staff/owner as well as the customer.

1st time here, ordered the 3 meat plate so I could sample the goods, coleslaw and pit beans. Sides are excellent! Coleslaw was crisp and flavorful, the beans!! Awesome flavor and perfect consistency, the meat in them gave a wonderful smoky touch! I could eat a full size and make that a meal! I chose brisket, pulled pork and ribs. The pork was, in my opinion, a little dry but smoked very very good,poured a touch of bbq sauce on it, viola! The ribs were smoked and seasoned well, and the perfect bite! Just a bit fatty. The brisket, smoked to perfection! Not as tender as I had hoped and fatty, but great flavor! I'll be back to try other items on the menu!!

Passing through and exactly what I needed to cure my bbq fix. Very good food. Brisket and turkey were juicy, sprouts and slaw just as good.
The food was incredible! The service was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a huge variety of foods available on their menu. They have dining inside. Or you can call or order online for pickup. If you haven't been to The Beast yet, give them a try. You'll be happy you did!

Beast Craft gives all the great bbq places in KC a run for their money. Fantastic ribs, burnt ends, and sausage. Also had the Mac cheese and candied bacon. Delicious! Drove an hour to get here, and it was worth the drive. Will be back!

Terrible customer service, would not honor their gift card, forgot multiple order when addressed the manager on duty argued with us… food was Mediocre at best… very expensive… will never be back… don’t waste your money

I was in town for lunch and just googled nearby restaurants and found this great BBQ spot. Very laid back vibe with a small dining room but an attached bar in case you want a beer with your BBQ. I ordered a two meat platter with the burnt ends (Friday) and pulled pork with sides of slaw and beans. Everything tasted great by itself but the meats were even better with their house spicy mustard bbq sauce, wish they sold it to take home. I look forward to returning next time I’m in the area!

Went looking for a Rally's while visiting from out of town. 😆 What can I say, this was a win all around. The chips, seasoning, and Brussels sprouts were everything perfect to complement the amazing flavor of BBQ. Staff were kind and my order was ready in less than 5 minutes. Can't wait to be back!
