Hofbräuhaus St. Louis - Belleville

Came here for Sunday brunch. Had a small bloody mary and the brunch plate featuring scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, thin fried potato slices, and two pancakes. The pancakes had a little bite to them almost like McDonalds, which I love. We all ordered the brunch plate but for one family member who ordered a breakfast sandwich and he liked it. Stopped here on the way home from picking apples. Beautiful building inside and out. It's huge. Beer hall style seating is a little tight. Very loud traditional German music. An expansive menu of German favorites like sausages and schnitzels. They have other offerings such as salads and hamburgers ( which one could argue is also a German dish). German Beers are available. Military reunion with guys I was in Germany with over 50 yrs ago. Always try to go to a “ German “ restaurant for a meal. End up at Hofbrauhaus - no matter where we go. Food was as expected.
