I went in on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. The young man at the counter was super friendly, even asked my favorite Taylor Swift album when he saw my shirt. The ham and apple bacon sandwhich was delicious and the side mac and cheese was good. However, the service after ordering was definitely NOT good. It took me almost 15mins after getting my food to get a spoon for Mac and cheese, even standing up at the counter asking for one. & the person I was with waited almost 20 mins after I had my food to get her grilled cheese and soup of the day. I know we got there about an hour before closing on a Sunday but better service would have me more inclined to return.

Amazing food and the staff is so friendly. A quiet, wonderful spot. They have a unique mufalatta that is so delicious. Their teas are so delicious. I'm not a coffee drinker, but they have a wide selection as well.
Meh, I wasn't impressed. The coffee was good, but my veggie wrap was disappointing. It had far too much feta cheese, and not enough hummus.
I arrived about 30 minutes before close, and felt all the while that I was rushed. I ordered my food to be eaten in, and instead it was brought to my table in a to go box.
I won't waste my time going back. It was literally the only coffee house still open at 1:30 pm, which was the only reason I went.

Just recently went to the chilli cookoff and sat down at the table in front of the establishment. A lady that worked in the coffee shop came to us and offered chilli for $1 we declined. She then went to another table to ask someone else. We sat at the table for a little longer and she came again. This time she said that we had been at the table a hour and 15 minutes. Mind you these tables do not belong to her they belong to downtown Belleville. She then proceeded to say that we haven’t bought shit and that we needed to move. Saying that the owner told us to move and that her husband is black. We were racially profiled and I would never get anything from their establishment. 0/10 don’t recommend. She felt like because her husband was black she could talk to us any kind of way. We don’t have to buy anything to sit in front of your shop!

Everything about this place is amazing. The food, the drinks, just everything here is great. So are the workers.

Today was our first time trying Justitias’s.
I ordered the bacon breakfast sandwich on ciabatta with extra bacon and the spicy aioli for myself, a bacon breakfast sandwich on a bagel with the sriracha-marmalade for my husband, and an order of biscuits and gravy to split so we could try them.
Overall, the actual taste of the food was good, but there were several things amiss.
My sandwich had less than half the surface area covered with the aioli, which was disappointing because it was tasty. The extra bacon I paid for was nowhere to be found. The eggs are not fried as the menu suggests. Fried eggs should have crispy edges and have some color to them, these were as white as white can be. They were also unseasoned. All of this could have been made a little better if the sandwich were pressed to give it more texture.
My husband said the marmalade was amazing, however, he said the sandwich would have been much better if the bagel had been toasted and the eggs would have actually been fried. Again, missing texture.
The biscuits and gravy had great flavor, but the biscuits were quite dense.

Hands down the worst “coffee” I’ve ever had. Ordered a cappuccino and watched her reuse the espresso beans from the previous drink. She saw that the color was practically water, yet still poured it into my drink. When I left and tried it, it tasted like just milk and I couldn’t go back to exchange it.
2 stars given because the lady taking the order was extremely nice and very friendly.
