Nice layout.
Long Story Coffee is a rare business because it actively invests in the community in which it operates. Along with providing great beverages and food in a renovated historic space, Eric and his crew regularly support local nonprofits like the Belleville Heart Garden, Humane Society, and social groups like the Belleville Running Club, etc. additionally, Clara B’s, which shares the space, partners with District 201’s CAVE to give practical experience to students interested in culinary arts. Long Story short, this business is more than just a great place to get a tasty coffee or work away from home: it’s an investment in the Belleville Community.

Comfortable environment with lots of seating available. I drive by this place every day for work, and popped in on a Saturday morning for a cup of coffee with a friend. Highly recommend checking them out.

We ordered 2 capichinos. They weren't the worst I ever had, but they were a close second. Staff wasn't friendly either. Maybe she had a bad day.

Cool coffee spot in Bellville IL. Had the house coffee and a slice of apple pie, both were wonderful. The coffee was smooth, and the pie tasted like grandma's. The server was courteous and professional.

This GEM is my favorite breakfast and coffee spot. It’s usually pretty busy…so be patient…sooooo worth it. I’ve seen a few negative review…(very few) and they seem to be the customers problem…not the actual establishment. This place is consistently delicious and just what I need when starting my day!!! Thank you LONGSTORY!!! (As I sit in the parking lot sipping my latte before I pull off☺️)

WOW!! Great coffee, delicious French toast! The atmosphere was much louder than I prefer, and it was really hot and stuffy inside. Regardless, I'll be back next time I'm in town. Delish!!!👌

My family is fairly new to the area. We decided to venture out in the summer heat on a Sunday afternoon and try a new coffee place, in hopes of being able to sit down, enjoy our coffee and possibly some brunch. We arrived at LongStory around 1 pm and it was an absolute madhouse. All of the tables were filled with Clara B’s patrons, and the coffee bar was completely open as far as seating goes. Although, we had our infant daughter with us and were unable to sit at the bar comfortably. We were unable to order any food from Clara B’s, as we did not want to eat in our car. But we did order our coffee to go, and unfortunately did not have a warm/friendly customer service experience. As we were waiting for our coffee, a very generous family offered us their table as they were leaving. I stood nearby while still keeping some space to let them comfortably gather themselves, as they also had a baby with them. Once they walked out, I started towards the table, when a woman suddenly walked past me right to the table we were offered and sat down. I didn’t say anything to her, as I’m not a confrontational person, but we did immediately leave upon receiving our coffee because of it. It’s a shame that it ended up that way, as we were looking forward to trying someplace new. We may return in the future, on a less busy day at at a less busy time. But it probably won’t happen for a good while.

Really enjoy the coffee here! They roast their own beans every month and have those dates listed on their bags so you can make sure they're fresh, and have several different types and seasonal varieties so there's always something new if you want to try them out.
Inside of the coffee shop is Clara B's and between the two they have fantastic coffee, pastry options, and brunch foods. Definitely reccomend for a nice coffee and brunch. Love going back here every now and then and also grabbing some coffee Saturday mornings when their stall is at the vine street market. Greta baristas!
Not what it used to be at all! Loved the old owners, food, drinks, customer service, friendliness and ambience.
Now it’s cold, unfriendly and nothing like friendly coffee shop it used to be. Sad, used to go there often but won’t be back.
