Well, all good things must come to an end. It is with great sadness that I must edit my review. After years of visiting vitos for the French dip, it is no longer worth the drive from missouri. We were hoping it was just a couple bad times but it appears things have changed permanently. The au jus is served cold, not luke warm, cold. Finally, meatball sandwich nirvana has been achieved!
Tried Papa Vito's Pizza in downtown Belleville tonight. I asked the waiter (Peter) if anything came with the sandwich and he said no but when you see the size of this sandwich you won't want anything else instead of trying to upsell a side or an appetizer. I really appreciated the honesty.
Well, take a look at the pic, I was starving but could only finish 2/3. The bread was soft and crunchy. The meatballs were fantastic....
Used Papa Vitos for a work event. It was amazing! Working with Jeneva was wonderful and she made all the necessary accommodations for the different types of allergens. Food was delicious and fairly priced! Highly recommend for your future work/catering orders!!
