I live in downtown Belleville and I love that I can go right down the street to get AMAZING sushi. I don’t even bother going out to eat at restaurants when I can order to go and pick it up faster than driving to a buffet. The staff is always friendly and the prices can’t be beat. We’ve been ordering from these lovely people for years now and every time is just divine. Freshest and best sushi in the area. We love the convenience of picking up our food and enjoying it wherever we want! Whatever you order will be amazing. My favorite is the Rainbow Roll and Spicy Scallop roll. 🤤 Pad thai and all of the curries are scrumptious as well! Highly, highly recommend!

This is a gem of a place. It's kind of weird that it's only take out, and the restaurant seems like a random hole in a building, but the food more than makes up for it.
Also I absolutely love sushi, and I love how cheap this place is. I often just buy a thai dish, and a small order of sushi to eat on the side.

I love love this place, best Sushi you can get in the area by a large margin. They don't have dine in, my only complaint, because mu husband and I end up eating it in our car like gremlins so we can eat it fresh. Still no regrets, would eat like gremlins for this place any day.

Just returned for a visit to the area. Súper buy out favorites shot and nothing has changed. The sushi is right on the mark, especially the sweet potato and skinny sushi’s. The pickled ginger is especially well made. It is not pink, but has a good, strong natural flavor.
This is the type of restaurant a foodie dreams of :) The veggies in my curry were noticeably fresh - they tasted like they came straight out of the garden and the veggie sushi platter was fantastic. I am glad I don’t live closer to Belleville because I would be spending a lot of money here. The owners seem very kind and caring. Highly recommend sushi Thai!!

I have ate at Sushi Thai for years and never has it disappointed. I can even remember the days of dining inside but for a while it’s been carry out only. Even though I miss it, it doesn’t take away at all from the amazing food. My fiancé and I order it at least once a week because it’s that great. The food is so affordable and the consistency is beyond perfect. The two owners quite literally do everything on their own and deserve so much love. I can’t recommend it enough!!!

We recently stopped by and were blown away by the Pineapple Fried Rice. Generous chunks of sweet, juicy pineapple were perfectly balanced by the savory notes of stir-fried onions, peppers, and our protein of choice. The rice itself was cooked to perfection — light and fluffy without being greasy or mushy. The seasoning was spot on, with just a touch of heat to keep things interesting without overwhelming the palate.
The sushi was equally impressive. We tried the Green Dragon Roll and the Maki Combo, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Green Dragon Roll had the perfect balance of creamy avocado, tender eel, and a drizzle of eel sauce that tied everything together. The Maki Combo was a great way to sample a variety of rolls, each one crafted with precision and bursting with flavor.
Sushi Thai might be small, but it delivers big on taste and quality at an extremely fair price.
