Was looking for some shrimp and grits. The quarter did not disappoint. It was very good the andouie sausage was cooked perfectly. The jambalaya was good ad well just went very heavy on the onions. The Southern Comfort Hurricane was made very well. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some flavor from the bayou.

We are big believers in yelp, so we were a little nervous to try The Quarter. BUT... I have nothing but great things to say. Beautiful restaurant. Great location. We ordered the boudin balls and the shrimp and grits. Both items were delicious!!! I am now craving the boudin balls. They had an amazing texture. And the remoulade sauce was so good. We also ordered beer and cocktails. I ordered the hurricane flight. All of the hurricane cocktails were delicious, and for the price, you get a lot of drinks! . I couldn't finish. Hahaha. And to top it off both our server and the bartender worked together to provide great service. No question, Five stars experience! We will be back!

Been here several times. Have tried about everything on the menu. The food and atmosphere are great. Live music. Great location.

Zero stars - went to family style all you can eat brunch - Food was cold and boring. First time I've ever written a review. I was looking forward to Cajun brunch - unfortunately only had scrambled eggs potatoes sausage bacon biscuits and really bad gravy. Paid $150 for four people tip was included

We normally stop in for a drink when we are downtown but this time decided to try the food. The fried pickles were really good along with the boudin balls, the french onion soup was just ok, but our friends got the jambalaya and said it was really good, everything came out hot and the service was good.

The hurricane cocktail was good. The rest of the experience was bad all around. It's a shame because we've been looking forward to trying The Quarter; a good Cajun restaurant could do so well in downtown Belleville.I won't be patronizing this one again.Parking: You'll likely need to park a block away or so. The restaurant is on Main Street.

After 2 visits... Food is not good Staff is meh Don't throw a bunch of Mardi Gras stuff up and say "hey, you're in New Orleans!" Gumbo was bad, salad was wet, my son's Mac N Cheese off the KIDS MENU was amazingly hot. Wine menu was crap. Your shrimp po-boy does not have to be the size of a small car. Muffuletta sandwiches are not suppose to be sweet (I'm guessing some kind of balsamic vinegar). One side of the restaurant looks like the singles cruise and the other side of the wall for families looks like old folks home seating.... wobbly chairs & tables.

Great atmosphere and super pleasant staff. I'd like to see some menu expansion and more options, but I think this place belongs in Belleville. Bartender is one awesome lady

Fantastic dinner this evening by Chef Bryan! Three of us had the New Orleans pasta and one the Big Easy steak dinner with fried okra. We were all impressed with our meals. Tasty corn bread, good drinks and Great service too! We'll definitely be back!

The so-called "brunch" here was the worst dining experience I have had not only in Belleville but in several years. I had called a day ahead because their website had no menu for brunch. I was told there would be eggs, breakfast meat, biscuits, gravy, and beignets. Also salad bar and the chef's choice of a New Orleans- style dish like jambalaya. My husband and a couple of friends arrived at 10am but the doors were not open. About 3 minutes later, they were and we walked in. No host or hostess greeted us. We walked around seeing no one and even went into the bar area. Finally, a person appeared near the bar and yelled that she would "get someone." A few minutes later someone else escorted us to a table, put 4 melamine plate, 4 forks and knives and 4 black paper napkins on out table. We were then told to help ourselves to the salad bar. It was not my ch of a salad bar and there was no dressing. When we asked, someone brought out unlabeled translucent plastic squeeze bottles, put them in a holder while reciting what was in them. The openings were tiny and after trying several times to get a decent amount of dressing, I gave up. The platter we got about 15 minutes later looked like a large pizza pan . It has scrambled eggs, overcooked bacon and sausage, very dense large biscuits, and a cup of what tasted like white gravy made from a mix that was tasteless. The food was lukewarm. A basket of "beignets" arrived. There were basically cold cake spherical donut holes rolled in powered sugar. I have had real beignets at Cafe du Monde in New Orleans and these were not even close! I will say two staff members came by to ask if we wanted more lousy food 4 times. The four of us didn't even finish the platter. That's the only reason I left a tip because of the service attempts. And what was the bill? With tip is was over $100!!!! So if you want a lot of lousy food that isn't really a brunch, go to Quarters. I will never be back and will never recommend it to anyone including people I don't like!

Went to The Quarter after eyeing it for months on a Wednesday date night. When we arrived, we found that Belleville East Band was having a fundraiser that evening and the jazz band played live music all evening, it was great to support them and they sounded wonderful! They even opened with the theme song from The Princess and the Frog, very appropriate for the setting.I felt that the decorations were a bit tacky. The New Orleans theme is cute, but cheap decorations from the Dollar General all year long isn't the cutest look. The food, drinks, and service on the other hand, were top notch! My husband and I got two different seasonal cocktails to share, they were poured heavy- how we like them. We enjoyed fried pickles for an appetizer. I ordered the NOLA Flatbread and my husband a salad and French onion soup. We were very satisfied.I'd read several poor reviews on this restaurant, but wanted to give them a chance and I'm so happy we did.

My friends and I frequent East Main for dinner as we work nearby. We usually go to Bennie's but there was a band and a large gathering so we decided to try somewhere different. We entered The Quarter and asked for a menu. That should have been our clue, as the waitress looked at us like we had three eyes. We were sat promptly after we looked at the menu and thought we could find something for everyone. We got our drinks quickly and they were good. That's when the service pretty much ended. We all ordered hamburgers with some fixings (eggs, bacon, avocado). That usually takes 20-30 minutes at a restaurant. This place wasn't particularly crowded. After 30 minutes went by and the tables that were sat after us got their food, we started to wonder what was going on. Our waitress had begun to avoid us (and avoided our eye contact/hand waving). An hour after we were seated she finally came back and said there was a timing problem...with the eggs. Dear reader, if you have never cooked eggs over easy, they take 40 seconds to cook. I asked if she thought maybe they could get us our burgers without egg, and she said she would find out. We never saw her again. And they will never see us again. (I left cash on the table). 0/10 would not recommend.

My wife and I have had a bad experience at other restaurants of this type in the area. Unfortunately, this one didn't offer a better one. The slow service, bland food and an overall lazy wait staff made me and the wife not want come back again .

Spouse and I decided to try The Quarter for Sunday dinner. When we arrived at about 5:15, only 2 tables were occupied - we were the third. We opted for iced tea and were each given a large glass and a carafe for the table. As to food, one of us got the Muffuletta Sandwich (which comes with a side) and the other got Jambalaya (which comes with corn bread). Servings were very large - we brought home almost half of each meal in "doggy" containers (other customers were doing the same). On the table, and available for purchase, were bottles of the restaurant's signature hot sauce. Spouse liked it on the Jambalaya. I thought it added a kick to the fried okra. The taste of the hot sauce is somewhat similar to that Red Hot Sauce often used to spice up chicken.
