We called to see if the restaurant served whole catfish. They quoted us a price over the phone and when we arrived it was more. The food was OK. The fish didn't taste like pond raised. It was though a nice size fish. The waitress we had was AWFUL! Served us our food and never game back to ask if we needed anything else. With that being said we will not go back to this restaurant and not recommend!
We visited late in the evening. The service was great. I had the roast turkey platter and my wife had a cheese burger. Both were nicely cooked, served hot, and tasty. I also had the soup of the day and it was also good. Prices are decent. Our only regret was we didn't have room for dessert as they have a large selection of great looking cakes, pies, and ice cream.
The 4 of us stopped in for something hot after walking around Belleville Christmas extravaganza downtown. My sister and I had the beef vegetable soup our husband's had sandwiches. We loved the soup so much we considered getting some to go but it was such a long drive we were afraid of spilling it in their car. Highly recommend the soup!!
