Our visit to Tim and Joe's was disheartening due to bartender Stephanie Keuhn. She assumed we wouldn't order drinks with wings, kicking us out prematurely. Unfair treatment and unwelcoming atmosphere. Also, she threatened to expel an elderly couple who agreed she was rude to us and to them as well last week. Seeking an apology and thorough investigation...My parents bring us here every Thursday and Jordan is our server and we never have felt unwelcome or treated with such rude behavior ?.. She is not a reflection of who your company is/was..And her employment there should be reevaluated based off your reviews..These past 3 months she has brought your company customer service down..And how she yelled and cursed at your nice and professional black female cook was beyond disgusting. For you all to continue to allow this would be disheartening.. Ms.Keuhn has zero customer service and is a rude lady

Unfortunately, my family and I had an unpleasant encounter with one of your bartenders, Stephanie Keuhn.Upon entering the establishment, we were abruptly approached by Ms. Keuhn, who assumed we weren't planning to order drinks with our wings. Regrettably, she did not allow us the opportunity to be served by our designated waitress, Jordan ( who is amazing) and immediately demanded a drink order without confirming our intent to even order wings... We patronize there various days throughout the week so we know all your expectations and abide by them. Her disrespectful assumption was out of line..This situation was not only unwelcoming but also escalated unnecessarily. Ms. Keuhn's actions resulted in the unjust expulsion of my family from your establishment. Furthermore, we are concerned about her interaction with your cook, where she allegedly used inappropriate language.We believe such behavior is not reflective of the service standards expected at Tim& Joe's. Dear TIM AND JOES TAVERN,I am writing this in great discuss over the treatment me, my family and other customers had to indure during our short weekly visit to your establishment!!!!!!!!Stephanie (THE BARTENDER who has been there for only 3 months) is extremely RUDE, DEMANDING, AND VERY AGGRESSIVE. Stephanie kicked me , my wife, and my 11 year old son out of TIM AND JOES TAVERN for ordering water first. Stephanie aggressively stated that she was the bartender and demanded us to purchase alcohol before we order our food!! (Keep in mind we just came in around 7 40ish). And we where gone by 7:50ish. That's how long it took for stephanie to aggressively tell us we can get out. After we told her we understood your company wing expectations (by the way we was going to order off the menu not wings) and that we frequent the establishment often. She then proceeded to aggressively state that she was the bartender and that she would be watching us while pounding on her chest. Stephanie then stated that if we didnt ordered an alcoholic beverage before we got our food that we still haven't even ordered yet because we still haven't got a WAITRESS OR WATER YET . Stephenie then proceeded to tell us that she was stating the rules and if we don't order alcohol now, that we can get out!!! Another older Caucasian lady came up to us and asked us was she rude to us also because Stephanie had been very rude to her and her husband on other occasions. Stephanie heard what the elder lady said and told her she can get out too. Their were multiple people at the bar who seen her aggression towards paying customers. Stephanie then proceeded to get the phone and threatened to call the police if we didn't leave! Then Stephanie went to the back and got one of the cooks to help her kick us out. But the cook knows that we are respectful, regular customers and wouldn't back up Stephanie aggressiveness toward my family and the older Caucasian male and female. We then proceeded to leave and then Stephanie started screaming at the cook saying why didn't you have my (F-ing back) curse word . And the cook stated she didn't know what was going on and that we are regulars and that we always order waters before indulging in an alcoholic beverage. With that being said me and my 6 members of my family who weekly patronizing (TIM AND JOES TAVERN) in Belleville il until ( STEPHANIE THE VERY RUDE TO EVERYONE BARTENDER DOESN'T WORK THERE ANYMORE)!!! Sorry Tim and Joe for years I've had nothing but great vibes and hospitality from your waitresses, cooks and the regular bartender. Me and my family has brought many friends and family to your establishment! This happened to 2-15-2024 around 7:40pm..Jordan has been our server and knows our weekly orders. We even have video and receipts of how much money we spend there weekly not just Thursday...We get Chicken on Wednesday and fish on Fridays often..Customer service is key. Had their Wednesday night fried chicken. It was good . Ambiance is fine. Service was fairly good. Cost $$. It was worth trying. Had a few feathers left behind. Otherwise it was good.
Thank you for the good wishes by those who where there, I am in good hands. Unfortunately my last visit there I was verbally assaulted by one of the staff members, while making sure a friend was safe. I wish it were different because staff has historically been so well hearted and kind to me. I know we live in a world where it's easier to use minorities as scapegoats, and when a possibly drunk and violent employee gets out of hand, it can be hard to deal with. Honestly, I understand. I don't know why she did it but I do not want to know. I didn't understand why in the face of an employee being aggressive towards someone, the staff didn't do anything. As for me and the gentleman that witnessed the event, we do not feel welcomed and do not wish to be a disturbance. We do not feel that environment is made safe when employees are allowed to act volatile. But I think the worst part was, no matter how much they tried to calm the situation, I getting my friends, and gettting out, the waitress became more volatile and threatening, and others, just watched.I keep the deepest respect for all people, so I wont go into names. I appreciate my friends who stepped in and stopped her from doing anymore damage. At first I thought it best not to go there if that employee was there, however out of fear of a bit of harassment, I found it best not to return at all. Sometimes I fear this will happen in more places but for my safety I avoid at all cost. However, I sorta understand how the 1920's happened now, I hope one has to feel that way. Respect to the establishment. Bless.
