very polite owners. great food and for the price, nice portion sizes. Definitely recommend. visited with wife and daughter after going to the zoo. we are from Dekalb and will be back.
The small geek salad is over priced and poorly prepared. The salad is $5 and you get wilted lettuce, a piece of feta cheese and maybe an olive. The salad dressing is nothing but olive oil vinegar and spices. Pure oil! They also put the cup inside of your salad on top of the lettuce. God knows whose hands have been on the cups. The staff at night act like they’re working in a Mexican assembly line. This place gives me anxiety. I can’t stand going anymore.
If you love old fashioned roll-up your sleeve hot dog stands this is it and more! For under 20 dollars the chicken and rib combo could feed 4 people. The chicken was tender and grilled to perfection. The ribs were thick generous and slathered. The side salad, potatoes, and garlic bread were bonuses! Fast, polite, and clean. Love the old school vibes and looking forward to trying more.
