Stopped in late afternoon @3pm Thursday 3/28 . Small elderly crowd ,Great service from Cathy very "sexy mature " lady. Offered free hotdogs too, very relaxing environment until shift change , rachel i believe... sets up shop , younger crowd start arriving about 6pm , then she declares its $10 cover for the night . Sorry but there's better clubs out there that aren't worth that cover charge , finished my drink and left . Is Rachel the owner ? Seemed as so . If not she's a bartender setting her tips , go during the day and tip Cathy well , she definitely is worth the stop , after 6 go to Lavergnes 4 blocks east , .

I wish I could go back and not spend anything at this racist bar. Owner of bar played pool with some of my friends and started calling it "n***** pool". Not to mention they don't card you so there was underage people there. save your money and go somewhere else

One the strip in Berwyn where there's a series of bars, along the metra train tracks. I got to check several out last month during the annual mini golf crawl. This place was pretty cool. Your standard sports bar yes, but a higher quality one. Lots of space, good amount of bar and table seating. Pretty good craft beer list, but all the classic domestics available as well. Plenty of TVs stationed all over for ideal sports viewing. One of the bigger spots overall on this Berwyn bar stretch, so it'd be ideal if you were looking to go out in the area and had a bigger group.

Bartender was very rude and slick.. Trying to steal money by making sure that you open up a tab, even when I told her no.. she made me wait for my credit card over 40 minutes.. Don't get me started on the DJ... Just as rude and only knew how to mix old school music... Hard to believe both back in the day were Radio hosts personalities..
Bar located close to the tracks in Berwyn. Godson's is pretty nondescript but cheap. It's a place to go to get away from pretentiousness. Has a few basic beers on tap, and lots of local beers in bottles and cans. There's also entertainment in the form of slots making this a place for games. A pretty basic looking bar. It's only different because it also has lots of slots. There's quite a lot of these. As for the beer, there's also a lot. It's about $5 to get some cans of the better stuff. Liquor is cheap. It's about $6 for a typical mixed drink and these are pretty strong. Has no food. They sometimes have frozen pizzas. Good place to hang awhile. It's not pretty inside or outside but it's not that bad. This is conveniently located close to the Berwyn Metra station.
