Visited from Atlanta with my family and went early morning to watch The Bears. What a great gang they have in there. Very nice and welcoming. Everything you want and expect out of a great Irish Bar. Thanks Guys!!

A nice little piece of Ireland away from Ireland. Love the Pilser Urquell draft tower here. It's my new favorite draft beer to drink when I come here.

If you’re looking for an authentic Irish pub in the Chicago area, this is THE ONE! James Joyce offers just about every Irish beer and whiskey you could ever want (and more you’ve never heard of), and the atmosphere feels just like being in a cozy pub in Ireland. The service is impeccable and friendly. There are many regulars at this pub, and it’s easy to see why! Everyone who entered was warmly greeted as if they were a close friend. If you get a chance to talk to part-owner Colin or his brother and bartender Emmet who hail from Ireland, you’ll be delighted by their lovely Irish accents and their endearing and playful charm. Do yourself a favor and have a pint of Guinness at James Joyce. It’s a true Irish gem of greater Chicago!

The woman bartending was sooo rude
my girlfriend and I were entering
I'm sure she saw us come in
but it seems that she was bothered to serve us
we literally just had a beer because of that
and when I asked for the bill, she was very close to throwing my card along with the ticket.
Yes, he said thank you, rolling her eyes.
Very cute pub, friendly clientele, reasonable prices. Would be happy to come back when I'm in the area.

Reliable local bar. No kitchen, but you can carry coor in, so get Chinese next door, pizza down the street, or burritos across Harlem first.
Parking: Parking is OK in the evening, but permit only during the day.

Quintessential Irish pub. Go for some drinks and maybe catch a game. Prices are good and they have a nice selection of beer and whiskey. Irish coffee is the best I've found around here.
