The lunch special, for about $11, is a hearty serving that will probably take two sittings to finish.

Based on customer reviews, N Joy Chinese Food Restaurant is a nice and clean spot with efficient and attentive service. The food is always made to order. Highlights include the veggie eggrolls, beef fried rice, pot stickers, sweet and sour chicken, beef lo mein, and sesame chicken. The fruit smoothies are also delicious. The Lunch/Dinner special is a good value, and the food is a step above nearby Chinese spots. The inside is authentic and a classic Chicago Chinese hole in the wall. The Crab Rangoons come out hot and fresh, and the Egg Foo Young is cooked well. The Mongolian beef is very good, and the egg rolls and egg drop soup are delicious. The vibe is great, and everything is inexpensive. The food is amazing and tasty.
