Our first time here and it won’t be the last! Super friendly service, and the quecas (slang for quesadillas) were soooo good. Handmade tortillas and homemade guisados (fillings) were super yummy. Nothing was spicy, just seasoned beautifully. I highly recommend this place! The beef tinga was amazing with a Smokey flavor of chipotle and mild heat level. The quecas are approximately 12” long and you can split the fillings to taste more than one at a time. I can’t wait to go back and taste even more. If you’re looking for a smaller size ask for a Gordita and you will get a round version but without the cheese ? Sorry too busy stuffing my face to take a picture lol!!!Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian fillings and cheese and beans options.

My family and I had a very pleasant dinner at this restaurant, the quesadillas were delicious, my favorite was the Tinga de Res. For vegetarians they have Nopales, huitlacoches, pumpkin flower, mushrooms.

I can't help but talk about this hidden gem in the Chicago area. Every time my boyfriend and I come down from Milwaukee, we make it a point to visit this place for their incredible quesadillas. What truly sets this place apart are the sauces and their handmade tortillas. The variety of options is incredible, and each one is a flavor explosion waiting to happen. From tangy salsas to rich and creamy dips, they've got it all. The tortillas are a game-changer, elevating the entire experience to new heights. They're so fresh and perfectly cooked that they alone could steal the show.Whether you're a local or just passing through the Chicago area, make sure to stop by this place for a quesadilla experience that's second to none. It's the kind of place that makes us excited for our next trip to Chicago, just to savor those mouthwatering quecas again. Don't miss out on this savory sensation!

The food was way to expensive for how it tasted. I got chilaquiles for $18. some pieces were cold and some were warm plus I got tacos and they were the driest tacos I've ever had. they overcharged me by $4 it's not much but I could only grab three pieces of candy. plus my and my friend were the only people there and we waited about 10 minutes for a menu and the food took forever. the service would've been except able if their were more people. overall 0/10 I'm very disappointed.

If the service is any indication, this is going to be a great breakfast.A cute and colorful dining area with high ceilings and good air quality, this spot was a delightful find after walking several blocks with growling stomachs in search of food while waiting for our new tires. The portions are generous and all the sauces are lovely. They have distinct identities-- none of them are weak in flavor nor do they duplicate. Slight quibble with the eggs not being over medium... but that's hardly worth a mention when the overall experience is so positive. The feeling is a bit like eating in a friend's parents' kitchen-- a friend whose parents can really cook! This place has sit down and carry out and patrons who feel very "neighborhood" flow in and out cheerfully-- everyone seems to feel as if this is their place.

We loved this place when we came a few years back. I was surprised to see the reviews get so low. Well.......we're sitting here now and now I know why. Food is taking a disproportionately long amount of time. Getting a miller lite(bottle) took longer than a margarita. The food is great. Please don't bank on that making up for the service.Edit: food is very good. Bill came in and prices don't reflect what's on the menu for some drinks. We were told not all menus have been updated. Not exactly a customer problem is it?
