A delicious hidden gem! We have been coming here for years. The food is always delicious hot and fresh. Prices are reasonable and service has always been friendly and kind. This is a great place for take out as the dining in options are limited. If you’re looking for good food try this place we recommend it to friends frequently.
I ordered the general tofu thinking it would be similar to Lao Sze Chuan. Nope it was swimming in a watery sauce with baby corn and bell peppers. The veggie spring rolls were fine. Lastly, the vegetable chow mein is not similar at all to what I had in Taiwan. This too was swimming in liquid and gummy due to the corn starch. I have been a loyal customer of Tasty House for over 15 years, and the food has consistently been excellent. The quality and flavor have always been the reason I continue to make the drive from Cicero to Berwyn.
