Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Not being able to get a water cup in a restaurant is ridiculous and unethical.

I ordered a blizzard for my mother and I paid to add whipped cream on top and got the small bit of it on it. Ridiculous

I would normally give a 5 star rating being that it’s my closest DQ store. But in the last month during business hours and during peak times (lunch) the ice cream machine has been down due to cleaning (not broken) today I have called them and spoke with the nice lady (GM) and told her about my concerns. Hopefully they will change their cleaning policy for the very end or the very beginning of each shift instead of during the day. Once this concern is resolved I will change my review

Couldn’t call to ask if they could provide us with the food we didn’t receive. It states “mailbox is full” and doesn’t even ring. All the food tasted off and so did the ice cream. On top of not giving us all of our food, 2 chicken strips instead of 6, they don’t even have a 2 piece chicken strip box ??? They got our ice cream wrong too. Normally I give places benefit of the doubt but this was absolutely terrible. I’d recommended a different Dairy Queen

Last night on Friday, June 27th around 9pm, me and my girlfriend both placed online orders for Dairy Queen in Bethalto, Il. Our order details stated the food would be ready at 9:30 pm sharp and the instructions clearly stated to go inside once we go there, to pick up the order at the front desk. We arrived in the parking lot at 9:26pm, However the door was locked and when I tried to wave down staff for help she just looked at me and ignored me. I ended up going to the drive thru and explained I had an online order but got stuck waiting forever there too. Long story short we tried waiting in the parking lot, after not getting help, we went through the drive thru, after not getting help there we called the Bethalto location phone number and told the person who answered that we were outside, tired of waiting for our order. It's still took them another 5+ plus mins to bring it out and I consider myself a pretty easy going guy, but I literally had to bite my tongue and restrain myself from clocking the staff member, who brought out our food, because it was obvious our food had been done for some time cause the icecream was completely melted, they were just too lazy to bring the food out in a reasonable, timely manner. The sign out front even says park here, your order will be out shortly, but we had to wait like 20+ mins for a simple order that was already completed. Adding further insult to injury, it was a very simple order, placed online, with a 30 minute notice, which should of streamlined the process even more, making it faster, not slower. I opened a loyalty account with DQ last night, took the time and gas money out of my day to do business here and this is how I get treated. I also want to point out that I'm not a Karen, I'm a reasonable person, but they way they were acting last night was not reasonable it professional at all so dq in Bethalto, needs to do better.

It’s a really good Dairy Queen for the area. The Buffalo chicken strip basket was pretty good and I’d recommend it. The drive thru lines can usually be fairly busy here which can be a drawback. They definitely need to fix up their parking lot due to the pot holes, so drive slow. Keep up the consistency for food and service to maintain quality. I’d recommend this Dairy Queen a visit instead of all the other fast food options in the area. 9.3/10 I’d recommend.

$4.50 for one single little ass cheeseburger!?

Sunday night I mentioned their prices were higher than Wood River Dairy queen. He told me I ought to go there then. So I skipped them both. Never will I be back

The manager Tony was very sweet. The pumpkin blizzard had a couple bites that tasted burnt which isn’t normally the case but other than that I love this DQ.

I came in and they apologized for the wait due to their understaffed the manager was standing in the lobby talking to people and i then overheard them say they had to do clean up for Monday and Tuesday and here it is Wednesday why the manager Tony was standing in the lobby talking with two elderly people instead of taking orders by her staff was under as I was sitting there eating she says I'm going home to play at the dogs why her staff is still understaffed and still cleaning and doing things two days worth of work.

Every time I'm there the head manager back in the office. while everybody else is running around trying to do their job shorthanded
when she's not back in the office she's paying more time with her favorites. She does her other employees she mostly does nothing that I see and I've been in there several times.
