Food was out quickly! It was delicious. I ordered sausage and egg sandwich on croissant and my girlfriend got a half order of biscuits and gravy. The coffee was hot but breeed conservatively not my tastes but probably the best average brew strength for a small town restaurant
My husband and I had some business in Bethalto near lunch time. There were lots of food choices. We decided on Eagles Nest restaurant. It is a cafe atmosphere with very friendly employees. Everyone is greeted with a smile. The employees were dressed for Halloween and very upbeat. My husband chose the Hungry Man breakfast and I chose the bacon cheeseburger and fries. It cost me $16 for two eggs two sausage patties and English muffins and a small bowl of strawberries. I'll never go back. The server was good she's been there a long time. That price didn't include the tip.
