The food was not that good, but edible.I got a beef chimichanga. When I cut it, so much liquid came pouring out, it filled my plate. The beef smelled like dog food. If I didn't have so much to put on the chimi... I probably wouldn't have been able to eat it.We will never go back.

Think they put crack in the chicken nachos. You can't stop eating them. So good!!
First sweet tea was perfect next two were unsweet guess someone forgot to add sugar. We had a group of 10 food was delicious but I guess they aren't used to big groups had trouble getting our order and food items delivered to table and correct but all in all it was delicious and had a good time.

Food was good but Alex is the true star of el mezcal. They got my order wrong and Alex went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. He made sure it was fixed and I was happy with the outcome. Great customer service!

I have eaten here a couple of times with my pal Steven. Tonight I had the el Mezcal enchiladas. They were pretty good but I wouldn't get them again just because it's not my thing. However I've had quite a few other dishes from here and I'm always happy and satisfied with the taste of my meal. I also ordered some cheese fries and for me and Steven to split and we both thought they were quite delicious. The sweet tea was alright. Steven had 3 margaritas and they were pretty strong which he likes. I tasted a few. The strawberry was my favorite. I would say the ambiance was cute just like any other Mexican restaurant and the service was great. I left a nice tip even though we had to wait a little while for our food. Steven used the bathroom for about 20 minutes and said it was very clean. Sorry I didn't take any pictures especially because my plate was aesthetically pleasing. I would definitely recommend this!

The food here is absolutely top-notch. You won't regret that. All the servers I've had, but one has been amazing. There is a gentleman that serves that is non-existent and is more worried about gossiping with the girls than he is working and his customers. If you get someone beside him, you will absolutely love this place. Everything I've had here has been amazing. If you like something with a good spice to it, I recommend the El mezcal burrito. It's my favorite. When they are busy, though, for some reason, the guests here are extremely loud! To a point you can't talk to the people at your table.

If I could give zero I would. I have dined here for years and it conts to go down hill. Beef was raw on our tables dishes and the chicken burrito had a bone in it. This is the third time I have gotten raw meat on my dish from this place.
