Amazing experience, helped by Kandy she was very attentive and engaged with her customers. Definitely coming back here.
I used to come get cannolis from this bakery when they were a $1 on Mondays then they switched it to buy one get one free with the Inflation increasing is very understandable. This is a local small business in Bloomingdale. They took away their weekly specials without any notice for the week of Christmas. As a regular customer, I would think that a bakery locally would want to have specials and sales for all of their customers instead of hiking the price the week of Christmas And taking away their normal specials. This officially pushed me to use a different bakery for now on.

At first glance this bakery looks charming and high-end, but the appearance is very misleading. The display cases look fresh, yet many of the items being sold are clearly old. Coffee, pastries, cookies, cakes, and even pizza slices are kept and sold days past when they should be. Nothing seems to be rotated out or discarded.
Cleanliness is a serious concern. I personally observed food being handled with bare hands after touching the face and nose, which is unacceptable in any food establishment. The back-of-house area appears cluttered and unsanitary, and repairs and construction work are visibly done in a rushed, unprofessional way while food operations continue.
For a bakery that presents itself as upscale, the standards behind the scenes do not match the image at all. I would strongly caution anyone who values freshness and proper food handling.

Tried this spot for the first time, and the Tiramisu completely won me over—so rich and flavorful. The team was welcoming too. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of their pastries. Five stars.

Such a good bakery! We used them for our wedding last year and they delivered everything we asked for. They’re so easy to work with and reasonable pricing for their delicious pastries/cake options. They made the cake sample process very easy and made our cake identical to the inspo pics we sent. Everything was very high quality. Definitely recommend them for weddings or other similar events!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chicago Pastry is a small spot that packs a big punch! The lobster tails and eclairs are excellent — fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. The donuts are just average, but the pastries more than make up for it. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re nearby.

My grandma used to buy pastries for the family from here since I was a kid, after she passed I decided to carry on that tradition. So many selections to choose from, but I love the cannolis, coffee cakes and the focaccia! The employees I've come into contact with are super awesome as well!

Everything I've had is maybe a little better than average except for the brownies that need to be completely replaced with a new recipe.
Their German cake had no cake in it just coconut and buttercream they also forgot to add chocolate for decoration and charged me twice. The owner said to make it right she would give me 20% off the next order. I ordered the cake for my fiancés bday will not be ordering from them again.

First time visiting Chicago Pastry to get a birthday cake. We picked the triple chocolate which is amazing. The gentleman who helped us said it’s his dad’s favorite. I can see why! Will be going back there for some more tasty treats. The cake was a great price as well.
