“We visited Matka Khichdi for the first time and had a great experience! The Punjabi food was delicious and full of authentic Indian flavors. For the first time in Chicago, we had such amazing Punjabi food—especially the Kaju Curry, which was outstanding! Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. We’ll definitely be coming back. “Wonderful. Fabulous. Magnificent. This is the best one I've ever been to. Everyone was nice, polite and helpful except one who was just grumpy but still helpful. All the food was hot and fresh. Salad was cold and fresh. Our server was very sweet. She was quick with drink refills and picked up used plates often.

They close at 8 pm. We got there at 7 pm. I figured we would get all the last dried up stuff at the end of the day. That was not happening with this crew. They kept everything full, fresh and hot. Fresh desserts were still coming out at 7:30 pm too. This place earned the 5 stars! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟”
